my main gripe with x gen and arnold is they are not very reliable at all. they crash waaaay too much for such and expensive package. almost unuseable unless you work in a big studio. Blender is rapidly catching up I think I tend to aim for real time anyway, so eevee is producing some great results for me ie displacement and the new hair toolset is pretty good, once you get the hang of it

you can remove or change the alphas on your clay brushes for anyone reading, btw. Want a perfectly smooth clay brush? Just remove the square alpha
