I actually landed the plane but I think we can do it normally without setting GPS display. All you need to do is do not change the nav mode to GPS and when CO pilot inform you that its intercepting localizer, you should hit approach mode and you can see the plane will align automatically and the glide slop and localizer will be indicated in the Primary Flight Display. When you capture the glide slop after intercepting with the localizer, and minimal visual aids is being established, take the control and land it safely. Anyway, it was a nice landing bro!
It was the warning sound to lower the landing gear, normal happens if flaps are deployed to more than half position or not enough thrust is being applied.
how do you get the gate to move and get the luggage unloaded and plane refueled after landing and is that available after all missions or just this mission
I think Ctrl+J attaches the jetway, and yes it's available at all terminals that have jetways (so it is available e.g. after "Quito Approach", "Amsterdam-London Airline Run", etc.)
How can you make the message pop-up individually like that? Normally I have to turn on the Kneeboard (SHIFT+F10) and the whole window takes a lot of space, inferering my flight experience. Thank you ( I'm using FSX:SE version)
The ILS. Or instrument landing system. You put a frequency into the nav1 radio which aligns you horizontally with the runway (intercepting the localizer) then you set the glideslope which will fly the approach for you by pressing the approach hold button in the autopilot when the diamond in the primary flight display gets to the middle. It’s right next to the altitude ribbon
@@agentorange153 you can try to fly the whole procedure manualy, but in those conditions we usualy keep the autopilot on until we see the runaway otherwise we go arround on the missed approach point. ( DA). For more imersion look for ILS CAT III on youtube, an approach wich is mandatory the autopilot use. Sorry my english..
You can use the autobrakes, reverse thrust, flaps and spoilers to slow down the plane while landing. The co-pilot will brief you through those in this mission.

Funny enough, this was actually one of the hardest missions for me back in the day! Now I really enjoy watching it
Honestly a really easy mission, only problem is spatial disorientation (due to which I was flying my plane upside down for 8 minutes)
Bruh did you look at the primary display XD
Monsoon approach🤔
Hi retro friends, 8:58 - what is this warning sound for, how to quit?
It was the warning sound to lower the landing gear, normal happens if flaps are deployed to more than half position or not enough thrust is being applied.
when i play, it says we are too right check to left and then mission fails.
my joystick is so bad. it's an old wingman force 3d, and all its analog capabilities are shot, so I might as well use the mouse. But good job!

how to brake after landing?
I tried it - and crashed into the ocean
Ouch!
how did u manage to land without seeing anything??
I use the instruments.

I don't see the glideslope displayed anywhere -- how DID you fly the final approach?
Change your ND to see full wind rose. Approach mode.
@@Igorms01 Oh, so he kept the autopilot on all the way down to the runway? Now what if I want to hand-fly the final approach, as I usually do?

I have not played this yet. When i read trough the Boarding i was like ,,this is Impossible"
And it IS impossible IRL -- in fact, in that part of the world most airports are CLOSED during the monsoon season!
I did like the video, but control tower say 050, but you are on 028?
I had captured the glideslope and I engaged the approach on my autopilot to bring the queen to land.
050 is a heading to capture the localizer. After that you must ajust the heading.
@@Igorms01 Hi, Yes your are right, That is were I got confused.
