Baroness Orczy is wonderful! I haven't heard or read this, so I'm all in. Everyone, pile on this one!
I've heard others read the Baronesses work, and it's grand. But I'm saving this very special treat for later. Thank you, Tony.😊

It wasn't until halfway through the story, when Mary is addressed by name, that I knew she was female. It was written so adoringly regarding Lady Molly that I assumed she was a male.

I thought that as well! I wondered, "who is this addlepated man following her around? Is he connected with Scotland Yard as well?"

@@er6730lol 😂 Trust me you will soon become a fan! There’s so many lady Molly stories that they become as addictive as hell! Or heroin (hell isn’t addictive) but how could we not know if we hadn’t read this before and I have read them all! I used think I’d have preferred to been born there or then I mean but we wouldn’t even have had the vote and were considered men’s property and if we didn’t marry then flawed but I think it is these books that people listen to for escapism and that’s not where you wanted reality! But if she wasn’t a “lady” or upper class would she still have had that freedom???!!!

Thank you. Great narration. Only problem so far is saying 'Lyons's' rather than just Lyons. I know one of the Lyons descendants and it's definitely just Lyons. 💐

Although not ancient, I am old enough to remember Lyons Corner House. My mother would sometimes take me there for a teatime treat when I was a child. Nostalgic memories of bygone times half a century ago.....

I’m old enough to remember that it was always referred to Lyons’s by the majority of us. This, no doubt, is what happens when you allow in the riff-raff 😂😂

Omg 777 views! I was born in 77 and it’s a mystical number 7 days in a week, colours in a rainbow, chakras, 7 natural wonders of the world, 7 seas…… I am trying to not make comments too long! Really though I could go on and on… I know my numerically and all things spiritual and there’s a huge gap in the market for spiritual fiction and I dropped out of uni bc it was rife with drugs and I had avoided alcohol bc dad drank and stopped he had a personality transplant! For the better so I came back to London but you can’t stop what you came to Earth to overcome, it’s destiny! An accidental od in my 20s put me firmly on the spiritual path which is why I also adore both the channels! Spiritual fiction is sometimes used in supernatural/paranormal although I don’t like the horror bit but now I am used to it! But I swear I was listening to this or Jasper le Strange and I fell asleep and I had bloody sleep paralysis!! Anyone else had that after watching or listening to horror?!
Thank you Tony! You are so talented and yes, a human being! Thank God the beings in my sleep paralysis were human (I have heard of people seeing otherwise! lol 😮‍💨🫶🦋🫶
