In each game he's in, he's a good beginner character, but becomes quickly overshadowed by the other cast members and shows his limits as they get stronger and as each new character comes along.
I swear gouken is a sf5 ready character, just nerf his zoning game to the ground (basically unplayable) then remove invincibility on both his ex tatsu and ex flip, then he’d be as boring as everyone on the sf5 roster lmao
I forgot, make his counters -15 on block, increase start up and pushblock on his demon flip kick, make the demon flip kick -2 on block, increase recovery on his demon flip parry whiff to -10, then he’d make a perfect addition to the sf5 roster
