Hey Matt, On the tint (privacy glass), since they aren’t tinting the front (door) windows you might want to not have them tint it at all. I know you are super OCD about things and different brand tint has different shades/hues of color. Just get it without any tint and your local installer can tint the whole car with the exact same brand/type tint on every piece of glass.
Vivid Red Matty. Push the button and get it done! I love this car, it’s utterly gorgeous. If you’re getting two of them get a couple different colours, problem solved. But I hope you don’t back out of getting one cause it’s a very cool car 👍 Edit: just watched to the end, scratch that the white looks legit! Though to be fair they’re all good. White first, Red second if it’s your car and the Blue for the giveaway car. Job done
Sweet configurations! Forget the blue, and go for the classic red with tan seating, and the white with red seating. Good choices on the calipers and and steering wheels too.
Yesss. These cars look so good in either red. Lotus of Orlando has basically all of the colors on the lot waiting for homologation clearance with the EPA and CARB now
Can't wait for the build process! I went with Seneca Blue / Black Alcantara w/ Yellow Stitch / Yellow Calipers / Diamond Cut Wheels / Black Pack / Sport Suspension w/ Goodyears / Alcantara Wheel / NO privacy glass. It seems majority of people are choosing privacy glass and I can see why, but I like the view of the engine bay in the rear and can end up tinting it later to match the front windows if I ever want to.
Hey Matt, definitely my top dream car realistically. My spec, obviously six speed manual. sport suspension, dark green, tan interior, black package, black wheels, black calipers. as far as your specs, the red and white, definitely the way to go not a fan of the baby blue at all. I’d stick with the red and white but that car looks great in pretty much any color I’ve watched countless videos, and I think the baby blue makes the car look fake if that makes ? anyways enjoy these build videos. Keep them coming. Have a great one.
Can't believe you configured this car of all cars - it's my dream car and now you're going to give one away!!!!! I've been reading and following everything about the Emira since it's been made public,, and funny enough my 8 year old daughter loves it more than I do :) She keeps asking me when I'm getting it, ha! I'll definitely be staying tuned for entry dates...good luck, hope you don't have to wait too long :) Oh, and yeah it was fun to watch you spec this.
The blue car is your perfect opportunity to contradict yourself and get the yellow stitching inside to match the calipers and give some of your haters aneurysms
The different blues look incredible on the Emira, but a red also would have to be a top choice as you mentioned. I wasn't even aware of this car model. Definitely looks crazy!
I've had my fair share of blue cars which led me to get crazy a few years ago and a red car showed up in my garage. I am a sucker for red cars, especially the Ferrari influenced design of this Emira. I am not completely in love with white cars but the one you configured was pretty sweet, I won't lie. Since you've been saying it in quite a few videos I'd spec the Vivid Red and if you decide it's not for you then the car can drive down the road!
I sold my Z4 M40i to order one of these. Harry's Garage did a good review of the two chassis specs and living in the UK the touring spec comes out in top for our roads so I'm going touring for mine. Going I4 AMG engine as it's really tunable and I prefer DCT for everyday use. Colour has to be Dark Green, full black pack, Silver wheels, yellow calipers, tan interior. Picking tan interior is how I also know I'm getting old... My 20 year old self would be disgusted with old me.
Me too Matt, White Blue ( the ISF is the first blue car I’ve ever owned Lexus only made 5000 of the ISF and shoot probably 200 or 300 of the ultrasonic blue in 13) I agree with you on the red too. Hopefully you can see all the colors in person.
As a Brit and having owned a couple of Lotus from the 1970s, the marque was famous for its magnificent suspension and road handling. I have no experience of a modern Lotus but it seems odd to want to immediately change the suspension.
Personally, black wheels are done and silver is back in. Red with silver is awesome so too is the blue however white with silver I’m not too sure. Hope you get both soon Matt.
First of all i love this series please keep on going with it. Now the Lotus it is absolutely gorgeous just an awesome car. I commented on the first episode that I'm a big sucker for red cars, so id choose the red from your configurations. Regarding to the blue you have to go atlantis the other ones arent that good looking.
Some dealers got an extra allocation of first editions recently. The one near me in Wilmington for a few more v6’s and some i4s. Can’t wait for my Atlantis Blue to get here.
Hello Matt, with regards to the Sports suspension check out Harry’s Garage channel. He specified and purchased his from the Lotus factory, and he drove both versions on their test track. But they had advised him that unless he was going to track the car to go for the non sport version. But definitely worth checking his channel out and he has done a subsequent update on what it has been like owning one.
Yeah...that's what car reviewers always say when they don't know what to say. "It's too stiff." I've never once been in a car with a factory suspension except the Ford Focus RS that I'd say was too stiff.
@@ObsessedGarage in fairness to Harris Garage he was testing them on UK roads which are horrendously bumpy. My TTS with adjustable dampers and 20" factory wheels was too stiff on them.
I’d keep the white/red leather and give away the atlantis/alcantara. The red/tan leather looks great but it looks like it wants to be a Ferrari IMO. Side note, I see a 458 in your future based on how you spec’d these. Haha!
As a member of the world’s largest ‘private’ members supercar owners club I know so many people have bought one of these Lotus’s and they all got rid pretty quickly because they just didn’t like them at all. There is a UA-camr (Harry’s Garage) that has one that like his but his recommendation was to go for the Touring spec suspension/chassis not the sport option as it’s far too brittle and hard riding. P.S the R8 has gone out of production now
I think the Magma red is a pearl and the Vivid red is a solid colour no flake. It definitely does look good in Vivid. I like it in blue as well. I didn’t care for the black wheels and roof though. The white is my least favourite
Seneca looks a little too C8 Vette common place. Yellow would feel a bit more unique and of occasion. White and red look good but feel like they’re a little 458 themed if the tan or red interior was chosen
I’m starting to have second thoughts on the red. Don’t you think it may be a bit poseur Ferrari? Might just want to go with the White and the baby blue color. Don’t get the blue with purple in it, like Gentian on your GT4. That’s ugly.
Have you sat in one? I had one on order and then I drove one. I am 6’1” and could not get comfortable in the car. You sit too high. I ended up with a GT4 and am in love.
Love Vivid Red. That’s a sweet looking car for sure. I enjoyed Shmee’s content when he took delivery of his- so I can’t wait to see yours. Also: what mouse are you using? Satisfying click, lol.
I currently have a Cayman GTS. I have no doubt it's better, but this being very different interests me. I doubt it would be a long-term car for me, but getting to experience is what I am after.
Matty ending up in 2 completely different US configurators was absolutely wild plot twist for this dual build recording.

Amazing that we all stayed and watched, for 45minutes mind you, a person clicking through a website that we could do ourselves. Lol
I LOVE the idea of this series! Put it out there everyone. Dream BIG! 💯
Just picked up my Emira on Saturday! I love it even more than I thought I would. Can't wait for you to get yours!
The Chinese are doing an incredible job with Lotus! Hopefully the US will get more Geely products in the near future.
Atlantis blue is my vote for the blues. But if you’re “only” getting 2…then red and white car were my favorite builds.
Sweet configurations! Forget the blue, and go for the classic red with tan seating, and the white with red seating. Good choices on the calipers and and steering wheels too.
💯 agree
Yesss. These cars look so good in either red. Lotus of Orlando has basically all of the colors on the lot waiting for homologation clearance with the EPA and CARB now
For this car, in this order: Red, White, Blue. Great choices across the board. This video series had me building trucks this morning 🤙
Matt, you need a red one and a white one , Punt the blue. The white car with black roof and red interior has serious NSX-R vibes.
Can't wait for the build process! The red car is perfect.
If it was me I’d do the white with black wheels, yellow calipers, black alcantara seats and wheel
The blue car is your perfect opportunity to contradict yourself and get the yellow stitching inside to match the calipers and give some of your haters aneurysms
I was next to one a few weeks back in downtown Sacramento. The Toyota V6 sounds utterly amazing. Matty!
Blue with the black roof black wheels and black and yellow stitch is the way to go. Car looks to base
The different blues look incredible on the Emira, but a red also would have to be a top choice as you mentioned. I wasn't even aware of this car model. Definitely looks crazy!
Atlantis with yellow calipers looks great

I’m dreaming big just watching this video always loved lotus never thought you’d be a lotus guy mat glad u are
Meridian Blue + Tan Leather + Silver Wheels + Silver Brakes 😊
I am surprised that matt liked the tan interior, the white and red cars are definitely my favourites
Some dealers got an extra allocation of first editions recently. The one near me in Wilmington for a few more v6’s and some i4s. Can’t wait for my Atlantis Blue to get here.

He's swapping out the suspension anyway + you can't get the cup2 option on the touring trim

I4 nimbus on order...good luck with your spec and delivery, will be watching
I wish I did not cancel my reservation. I was 10th in line when I lived in Houston. I just did not think I would use it much living in Tahoe.
I’d keep the white/red leather and give away the atlantis/alcantara. The red/tan leather looks great but it looks like it wants to be a Ferrari IMO. Side note, I see a 458 in your future based on how you spec’d these. Haha!
White / Red is deadly... For the give away car. And the Red / cognac is for Mattie 😂😂😂
That's gorgeous ❤. Sporty without been over the top.👍🏻

Vivid Red for you, Atlantis Blue to giveaway. Save the white for the GT3RS.
Great job matt 👍
Atlantis Blue and Vivid Red. Get red contrast stitching on the Vivid Red one.
I think the Magma red is a pearl and the Vivid red is a solid colour no flake. It definitely does look good in Vivid. I like it in blue as well. I didn’t care for the black wheels and roof though. The white is my least favourite
Magma is going to be a metallic cherry red, the vivid red is Ferrari red for sure but it is a flat color with no metallic flake.
#1 Red, #2 White, #3 Blue
Finally.... car content 👏👏👏
Most of the European reviews recommend the touring suspension for daily use. Sport they say is too firm
I am not a fan of red but the vivid red looks 👌. So I would choose the vivid red and white.
I'm gonna go Matrix style Red & Blue, The red pill lotus and the gentleman blue.
I think it is a bit of a poser, but it still intrigues me.
Senica blue, black pack and black wheels imo. So what if you've done that on the red car already.
Seneca Blue IS baby blue. As you would say "get outta here". Atlantis Blue all the way.
Seneca is more like BMW's Laguna Blue or the Type R's Boost Blue. Baby Blue is more like Fiat's Celeste Blu
call me basic but white ext. /caramel int. silver wheels with red calipers looks pretty clean
Seneca blue on the giveaway car.
Couldn't agree more -- it will gather the most hype.
My personal favourite colours are Atlantis blue and magma red
you can never go wrong with white/red
991.1 GTS is def the move.
Black calipers on the vivid red is also the move.
Thoughts on the Maserati mc20?
I've always liked the look of the MC20, but I don't know if I could stomach the build quality.
Have you sat in one? I had one on order and then I drove one. I am 6’1” and could not get comfortable in the car. You sit too high. I ended up with a GT4 and am in love.
Dreaming of costly repairs and depreciation with Lotus.
Love Vivid Red. That’s a sweet looking car for sure. I enjoyed Shmee’s content when he took delivery of his- so I can’t wait to see yours.
Also: what mouse are you using? Satisfying click, lol.
Apple Mouse
Keep the red, giveaway white. Do a Ferrari 296 next.
**White with yellow calipers red interior!
*Red with silver calipers tan interior!
White with red interior is the move.
Since you’re doing two, it’s red and blue.
This reminds me of my 1997 Toyota Tercel
Totally dig the black wheels
The blue could take a hike
I do this with a different manufacturer almost every night while watching UA-cam
#1 White
#2 Red
#3 Blue
Have you had a yellow car? You’ve have white, green and blue. My second car was red and red is hot :D
No, I've never had one.
British racing green with yellow stripes
The red and the white
S650 or gtd I don’t know if the configuration is open yet for gtd
The 6 cyl is made by toyota 4 cyl is by amg, I would also want the 6 cyl
White for the win!
Black wheels on the blue one 🤙🏻
I’m picking the white
Oof! Keep the red and the white. They tickle your insides to look at. Blue is alright.
Atlantis blue, mist white with tan interior.
White & Atlantis ❤
Yellow on Red is basically Mcdonalds..... is Ferarri a Mcdonalds car 😂
I would get a different color caliper on it.
1st Blue & 2nd White
That blue is too purple, go baby blue.
If someone does steal it I don't wanna know where it is. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The white and red is it
Why get the emira over the cayman gts?
I currently have a Cayman GTS. I have no doubt it's better, but this being very different interests me. I doubt it would be a long-term car for me, but getting to experience is what I am after.
For the Giveaway car I say go mist white paint
If you bought it in red how many non car people would say nice ferrari
One white. One red.
What about the Porsche 911 S/T?
Man...that is my dream car.
Red
Blue
White
I think mist white should be the2nd one
Drop the blue. The white is so good looking. Definitely an OG spec.
can you do a ferarri or nissan gtr
Go with red on tan and white on red. The blue looks boring.
Seneca is too pastel, too chalky. (if it had a lot of metallic then yes)
Seneca actually has a fair amount of metallic flake in it
Weird I don’t see Lotus Matty but I see Ferrari/Aston Martin Matty
the giveaway spec should be atlantis blue
never mind the white one is better
