- As skateboarders we are constantly pushing ourselves. At the Berrics we are constantly pushing ourselves to create better and more interesting content for the world to enjoy. This year we created a new documentary series featuring 8 of the most diverse and talented skateboarders the world has to offer as they pursue the holiest of holy grails, their video part. Twice a week, until now, you've seen who these skaters are, where they come from and what they go through while filming what many think is the most important and defining aspect of a skateboarders career. Behind every great trick is a great story. With that said, every trick Luan Oliveira does is a great story in itself. But you know his skating isn't the only story to tell. Watch the best of his past 7 months and realize you'll be telling his entire story for the rest of your lives. He's a true gift to skateboarding, and the fact that this part was filmed in less than 7 months is a testament to his incredible ability. Vai Luan!

My favorite thing about his style is how damn complete his landings are! Like it’s always a full 180 or a full 360, not 350 or 170.
Especially after a back tail tre revert too
And he stomps the tricks. Not carefully landing. STOMPING. Like in lines: THIS! is a kickflip and now THAT! is a hardflip.

Best skater in the world in my humble opinion. He's also a down-to-earth guy on top of everything.

Luan's just a ridiculous skater all around
Kieran Black You can heel flip that high. Focus the pop of your Ollie higher first and flick your heel super quick and get a lil more speed so the impact doesn't make you wheelbite or land hard with a slow roll away. There was a skater in the 90 s named Chad Knight who could heel flip just like Luan and when you slow/pause the tape/trick you can see they both have the same motion hard high pop before quick heel flick.

This video inspired me because I also lived a very rough life in the hood and skateboarding was the only thing I turned to whenever I felt down. The only difference is that I’m nowhere near the level luan is in skateboarding but I can relate to luan very much btw congratulations luan you worked very hard to be where you are today. 😄
