STURDY Pony Wall Installation

First draft of shoring up this pony wall did NOT go well. I bounced back though and made it work!

You didn't add tension. That's why the rod didn't work as planned. Basically you want that top plate to be pressed down into the ground.

I'm in the same situation, I'm thinking about a 1/4 thick angle bracket bolted to the concrete and fixed to the stud. Maybe on each stud. Maybe 2x6 construction for extra rigidness

How did it work? Im going through same situation on concrete
