Fabiha, how did you turn to Allah?, as in even i have a strong feeling for someone but i am not able to detached my self from her(she is a hindu)and i don't know about her feeling and furthermore i am at that stage of life where i can't afford to fall in love because i am a working professional and i have to focus on my career. Just don't know how not to think about her.

Social media, dramas, songs and movies are a major source of increasing your pain and depression in that phase.. as they connect you to shaitaan and he loves to see a believer sad and disappointed.. I would like to share my opinion. As a mother I strongly strongly believe in early Nikah. Nikah has some much blessings in it.
I have been living in Canada for more than 22 years. My kids born in Canada. All boys MashAllah. I have been teaching Islamic studies to Ky boys and others at home. When ever I was teaching kids I was trying to instill this concept in kids minds that it's so natural to like someone, it's a fitrah but never chose the wrong path. Always avoid the Haram relationship and choose nikah instead.
When my oldest son Osama turned 19 and was in second year of university, one day he came to me and said "Mama I think it's time me to get married". I asked him if you like someone then let me know so we can talk to the family. He said "No mama, I don't have any girl in my mind, actually there is so much fitnah in university, half naked girls all around us all the time and I don't want to indulge in any fitnah because of the temptations, 90 % of my Muslim friends have girl friends and most of them are committing sins, so find me a good practicing girl who will complete my Deen". Allhamdulillah we as a parent had him married within 5 months with a good religious girl. The nikah was done in Masjid and next day walima. No mehni, no Barat no music, no jahaiz, simple wedding Allhamdulillah. The girl we found was my niece MashAllah practicing muslimah and she is 2 years older than my son. We all seen good qualities within her not her age or status.
When my son cracked the news to his university friends that he is going get Nikah soon. They laughed at first and sad "Hey bro you are only 19 and half years old, too young man". My son replied them "you can have girl friends at this young age then why can't I have a wife in this young age?".... Allhamdulillah after that my son has been encouraging his friends to leave the Haram relationship and go for nikah. His friends told him "man we wish we can get married but our parents won't allow us to get married untill we finish our studies, get the job and financially independent, and collect enough money to afford a large wedding, so my friend how can we wait untill then and control our desires patiently?". It's very sad. This old school of getting married when you are mature enough is a wrong mentality. I am a mother of four boys MashAllah, and I am going to get them married on right time before they fell for any sin. In Sha Allah.
REQUEST: so my dear Muslim brothers, you are doing an amazing job, please use this platform to convey the right message. Don't care about the liberal mentality, say what is right according to the rules of islam. In Sha Allah Brakah will follow. May Allah bless you all immensely. My personal experience first and foremost thing is to get off listening music. Secondly namaz and istegfar. . Third you start learning the meaning of namaz. four you start learning arabic. Then five you start loving namaz and deen. Sixth then you become mature and responsible now and taking care of family. Seventh you start being calm. Eighth plan to get married, sometimes, you are ready to get married but, family sees you changing in good way and getting closer to deen. Then family tries to find for you better person . So, For long time, you never find better half as per family, bcuz they are seeing you changing day by day. It is hard to find the partner. Bcuz they starting finding more deendar for u .that time being calm and making dua in prayer works as medicine.
Subhan'Allah. Waqai Allah taala k ilawa koi bhi personality ap k pyar ki qadr nahi karti.
Pyar khalis Allah swt ki zaat k loye hona chahiye. And you should love others because you love Allah taala.
Dunya ka pyar is temporary but Once you have Allah taala thats a high like no other

Being a psychologist I agree with what he said that psychology teaches methods to manage anger issues by letting the anger out in one way or another, and they say not to hold it all inside cuz it's bad for mental health. And some Psychological approaches discourage to suppress anger which they say would burst out worse than before. so we tell clients to take it out on something else e.g punching a pillow, using stress balls etc
But Islam tells us to suppress the anger. There are also some Psychological methods to tackle anger by suppressing it. E.g drinking water, counting backwards, leave that place for a while to calm down and other distraction techniques etc.
You guy's are gem i have routine of listening to different lectures on your channel at 6PM and I feel so satisfied that I found mentor's in you people.
