Always like seeing animals around cemeteries. My local cemetery has lots of Wallabies and Kangaroos, peacefully grazing. I have never heard of them bothering anyone, they keep their distance...always nice to see.
Thank you for doing this from the email i sent man. Dj Screw literally gave houston its stamp on the map in the music game. Just legendary and still is celebrated out here in houston and yes George Floyd was a member of the Screwed Up Click
Hello Lamont. I am amazed that that whole DJ style you described came from him alone. Many people seem to imitate it because it is so crazy and unique. It is so hard when young people die. I pray that his family has found God's peace.
Hi Lamont. Don't worry about the deer. From Wisconsin and have hand fed deer. Love your videos. Rainy day just hanging out at home. Thank you for breaking up the boredom of my day. You're awesome!!!❤️
I can’t believe you didn’t bring your extra Codeine from Covid to leave on his grave. What a bummer he was an awesome musician. I don’t have one of his famous gray tapes. But I love his music. Really sad he went way to early. Been there myself… don’t sip lean kids.
My day could be going bad then I get on Lamont’s channel and listen to him talk about the history on the person and headstone and I feel better he soothes my soul 😊
I always heard his name but never really knew who he was, thanks Lamont for sharing this with all of us, U Da Man!!, And please to everyone don't do drugs, they don't care about us, age, color, Male or Female, stay strong and healthy everyone, DJ Screw 1971 - 2000 Rest In Power 💐🙏🕊️
RIP Robert Earl Davis 😢 my whole childhood was spent listening to screw tapes.. born in the early 90s.. would have been nice if you played the song "Don't mess with Texas," in the background ❤thanks for showing us this
What a beautiful country cemetery.. Lots of old graves and I bet quiet a few unmarked graves.. The name on the old handmade stone was Eula Lee.. Another great video..❤
9:03 Lamont is pronouncing this name as "you-LAY-lee." It may be the correct pronunciation in this particular case, I don't really know, but long ago in my early grades I remember some friends/kids who had a relative with this name and they called her "Yula-lee" and then there was a Eulabell that sounded like "Yula-bell." The accent was on the first syllable (at least where I roamed in north Texas). Perhaps the middle tombstone above is Eulamae or sounds like "Yula-may." There were quite a few Beulahs and Eulas in those days in rural Texas. There was an older neighbor in my hood and we we pronounced his name as "You'll." I never saw how his name was spelled, perhaps it was Euel, or Euell, as a male version (el instead of la) of the above name. Just guessing. TODAY it would likely be spelled Ewell, but hey BACK-IN-da-DAY spelling was however close you got, give or take a few letters.
Skrew just didn't put himself out on the music scene..all his homies too..B4 the store he used to sell gray mixtapes out his house.. putting his n his homies freestyles on skewed up tracks..cool video thanks for sharing..👍🏼
Interesting story on this fellow. I never heard of him, but I don't really follow rap that closely. Seems like he was very influential and died too young. Very sad.
Oh Wow. You was down here Central Texas way. Welcome. RIP to the King of the South DJ Screw. 🔩 💜 He was super popular here in Texas before he passed, once he died he got more popular outside of here.

I was born and raised in Houston, he was popular here, I have understood or liked the chopped and screwed “music” it terrifies me. I can’t understand someone getting addicted to “lean” I’m deathly allergic to Phenergan and that’s how he died of course, a lot of them did “purple drank” they call it locally

Rip screwzoo! Back in high school we used to buy his tapes at his house. The whole block would be lined up with cars.

Wow. Brings back memories. Love the video Bang Screw. I didn’t know he died. RIP. Thanks for bringing this. Beautiful grave.
Have not heard of him but he passed the same year my dad did. So that could be why. I had been taking care of my dad his last 10 years of his life.
I hadn't heard of this young man until now. I'm a 1965 model. That could be the reason. Thank you for what you do Lamont.
I have never seen a cemetery like this. It looks big but so many of the graves are far apart and all over the place. I’d love to see it in person.
