I find a bucket of water hanging from the tripod the best way to stop it blowing over and you also have somewhere to wash your hands after baiting up .
Good venue, good tide, good bait and then the East wind kills it. We've all been there. I had a similar session last week expecting to land several rays and couldn't find a single one. If every session was successful I, for one, would get bored. It's the unknown that keep us buzzing.
Tuesday morning sitting hear catching up with your videos after a weekend fishing on the lakes were the biggest was a 47 pound cat caught by one of the boys keep up the good work mate
I can’t be the only person that thinks you are the Bob Ross of the UA-cam sea fishing scene. Keep up the good work , you make me laugh and at least you show the blanks too. Tights lines
No matter who you are Wayne. If the fish aren't there, nobody is catching.🥺 Whenever you go fishing, always prepare for the worst weather. I'll give you that tip for free.🤫 A great effort mate, your day will come.💥 Until then, thanks for sharing. 👍 Take care and stay safe.😷🙊 Oh and watch out for those tripods, they can be sneaky little buggers. 🤣🤣
Always a good video mate it doesn't matter about blanking you can't catch fish if the fish isn't there but you give it a go and that's the main thing tight lines mate 👍
ello wayne ive neen watching you for a while and love the content ... its fishing ... sometimes you catch and blank it would be boring catching all the time .. ive always said we fish for the next bite keep up the brilliant work
Cheers Wayne ... I’m well used to blanking good to see a pro can blank to now and again you can only catch what’s in front of you ... Thanks Wayne take care mate 👍🎣🎣
Hi Wayne is that top end of Kingston Seymour, one of my favourite places, can throw up some good fish but like the rest of the channel one day they are prolific next tide not a touch. But that's fishing
I've blanked the last 2 days here in Perth Australia, Fishing rock walls for pink snapper. People either side of me caught good fish, I missed my 2 fish by them missing the hooks.
great video mate shame about the blank but that’s fishing i to show all my blanks not just sessions we’re i catch 😂you made me laugh wayne cheered me up take care pal 👍
Well i dunno what's wrong with these fish babber , that crab/lug delicacy looked peachy, the casts we're spot on , rigs gorgeous...someone needs too tell these fishy tasty buggers ,get on it!! 😊
Your having a tough time when by now fishing should be getting better but like I’ve said before weather just won’t settle down it’s still very cold for this time year in my opinion even trees are holding back sea temperature still very low . You are just showing how hard it really is at moment good on you for being honest excellent video excellent sunset 😎👍
That's the the tail of fishing the Bristol Channel. We fished Lavernock sand spit on Sunday. My son had a small bass after about 5 hours. It was wet and very cold 🥶
Something that I've found helps massively with stopping tripods going over is a strong carrier bag with sand or rocks hung directly from a centre hook where the three legs comes together some tripods have a hook there for the job gravity really helps pull them legs down where you want them. You would have blanked harder if you didn't go keep on keeping on
Great video once again wayne..Lots of entertainment as well as advice...The venue you were at looks safe fishing? Is it safe to take my grandson there? And do you mind me asking where it is please?👍👍
Good effort Wayne. If they aren't there, or they're not feeding then there's nothing we can really do about it. Looks a nice easy place to fish. How close can you drive to it Wayne? Keep up the great work mate👍
My favourite fish to catch from the beach is the Rock Salmon - great fighters and very good to eat with cartilage rather than spiky bones. Also, you can use their skin for sandpaper or to make a nail file for your girlfriend.
I find a bucket of water hanging from the tripod the best way to stop it blowing over and you also have somewhere to wash your hands after baiting up .
Great advice mate, I will show everyone the clip or hook next time..Great stuff

Haha great video Wayne, I’d like to see more detail of how you attach the cricket bat rubber to your rods if you get a chance next one 👍
I will be doing a video soon, keep watching 👍
It is what it is... I don't think I've ever caught on an easterly wind. Great effort though. 👌
It's hard mate. Hopefully they clear off and leave us a nice spring 👍
Best blanking video I’ve seen😂. If you blank it must be tough. Good advice on the rod rest 👍
Thank you mate. I am the same as everyone, we all love a blank
Nice video mate as usual shame about the lack of fish but that’s life unfortunately!! See you soon buddy 👍🎣
Thanks mate, yes let's plan ✌️

That's very useful advise on your rods falling over Ive had it happen bye bye top eye .also if its expensive rods it's a real kick in teeth .
Thanks mate..I hope it helps.
Well in Wayne, great effort. Not all about the catching. Off to chesil next weekend Portland end… any tips?
Well i dunno what's wrong with these fish babber , that crab/lug delicacy looked peachy, the casts we're spot on , rigs gorgeous...someone needs too tell these fishy tasty buggers ,get on it!! 😊
That's fishing for you mate. ✌️
Wayne you funny old blanker 😂

Thank you mate, it's all about being honest and real hey, thanks again for being kind. Take care.
Good tip about the rod cups, I just invested in my very first carbon rods and I would hate to break them first use in the wind.
Thanks, mate. I hope it stops you from breaking your rods. Cheers for watching
When the wind from the east the fish bite lest ... sorry you froze ...
So true, it will never change
That's the the tail of fishing the Bristol Channel. We fished Lavernock sand spit on Sunday. My son had a small bass after about 5 hours. It was wet and very cold 🥶
Great work, congratulations to your son for all those Bass, that's epic.

Thank you, yes I did have rocks on the legs, I should pointed that out. I will next time 👍
I want to add that I use pulley rigs with stingers.
OK buddy.
Great video once again wayne..Lots of entertainment as well as advice...The venue you were at looks safe fishing? Is it safe to take my grandson there? And do you mind me asking where it is please?👍👍
Hi mate, it's a lovely mark but a walk. There is lots of decent marks around the Clevedon area.
Tbh I’ve always blanked there Wayne
It can be good. I promise 😄
🤣😂A slow motion pinch on the bollocks!!🤣😂
Haha 😄
Good effort Wayne. If they aren't there, or they're not feeding then there's nothing we can really do about it. Looks a nice easy place to fish. How close can you drive to it Wayne? Keep up the great work mate👍
Unfortunately it's a 25 mins walk mate, there is better places. I can hook you up with 👍
It's fishing not catching, entertaining still, big up on the consistency dude 👍
Thanks Danny buddy.
I'm from San antonio texas, I don't understand your use of a tripod to hold your rods. Here I use 3/4 in smooth rebar with PVC attached.
Thanks for watching, we all use them here.
Those poxy easterly’s bud can kill it ay, poxy weather🙄
I know mate. Its a shame.
Weather has to change soon bud, fingers crossed 🤞
My favourite fish to catch from the beach is the Rock Salmon - great fighters and very good to eat with cartilage rather than spiky bones. Also, you can use their skin for sandpaper or to make a nail file for your girlfriend.
You are so true, lots of people hate them but they have there uses. Especially in years gone by.
I’m over in Chepstow mate, can you recommend anywhere tidy to fish? That I can fish anytime of day?
Hey mate, the tide is massive in that area, you need to fish over high water.
How do you rate the Naga’s Wayne?
Absolutely brilliant mate, as you will see I use them for all my videos. I am sure that's a better review than anything.
On ya altro was there something behind ya
I don't know 😄
Glad it's not only me blanking all day at bexington last week not a touch.
It can be a pain mate. Its been hard.
So much effort for so little reward still good viewing tho blank or not
Thank you, it's hard when I blank but we will get there. Its spring soon, well now 😄
