I have to say this some religions tell me not to listen it has to be just Christian songs but I don't believe I used to when I was a young blonde again Christian and I didn't listen to any songs I I just just Christian songs but as I got older I realize that everybody is a unique unique talent and they may be different from each other but music touches the soul it makes us happy so what can possibly be so anyways I guess they just love music no matter isn't just a so amazed that they can play the guitar like that piano I don't know it's just amazing
Tedeschi Trucks and Marcus King...pure heart and soul. Tasteful brilliant musicians beyond the musical heavens above. Great footage. Thank you posting.
Man..., my F%%kin Prayers have been answered. My era is back, Baby. Rock and Soul in one dude. And that Keyboardist is like a Billy Preston and Sly Stone. Took me to Church. Damn! I WILL be at the concert in NYC!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keyboards is Kofi Burbidge,he's played with Derek for 25 years. His brother is Oteil Burbidge long time bassist with ABB(Warren Haynes,Derek Trucks era)!!
Marcus King is in a class of his own in my opinion ! He's one of the best guitarist that's come out in years ! He does things in some of the songs that defies logic I guess would be the best way to say that ! He's one of my top 5 guitarists .
I'm finding more and more about these artists how talented they are it's amazing they like geniuses that's what I I just I think they have a lot of talent and to be able to play the musical instruments and sing it's amazing it's brilliant geniuses
Oliver Wood is one of the founders of The Wood Brothers, along with his brother, Chris Wood. After several years on their own path, they discovered their musical bond and have been on a wonderful journey ever since their first release in 2006. On February 2nd, 2018, The Wood Brothers are releasing their sixth album ‘One Drop of Truth,’ which dives headfirst into a deep wellspring of sounds, styles, and influences. Whereas their previous outings have often followed a conceptual and sonic through-line, here the long-standing trio featuring brothers Oliver and Chris Wood along with Jano Rix treat each song as if it were its own short film. The plaintive, country-folk of the album’s opening track “River Takes The Town” gives way to The Band-esque Americana soul of “Happiness Jones.” The stream of consciousness ballad “Strange As It Seems” floats on a cloud of ethereal beauty, standing in stark contrast to “Sky High”-a Saturday night barnburner built upon stinging slide guitar funk. “Seasick Emotions” is rife with emotional turmoil, yet “Sparkling Wine” is jaunty and carefree. The end result is undeniably The Wood Brothers’ most dynamic recording to date.
Markus no doubt has it .....he really is something else....his guitar playing is fantastic and his vocals are quite unique. It's good to see Derrick slow him down a bit here .......Markus can tend to go 100% out the gate.....kid is old soul and has so much potential. From what I can see Derrick loves playing with him and Derrick is the best slide guitar player alive today period .....and yes I know about Sonny Landreth.
This dude is really good but it seems like he is trying to get too many licks in to me sometimes (trying to play too fast)....im just going off what i feel ...i dont really know what im talking about
I have never heard Marcus king play like this. Always very standard ho hum. Derek held back for the whole first half. To the point where Marcus was looking at him and he's like nope. Playing some rhythm here. Nothing to look at. And Marcus RIPS.
Am I the only one annoyed by Susans timid mannerisms on stage. I know the woman can sing but she's always holding her guitar like she's scared of it. Like its a giant ''icky" frog she's supposed to be dissecting in 9th grade Biology class. Instead of just playing the FN thing she's always looking around at everyone, all unsure of what to do. And it's EVERY FN video.
Got to be kinda tough when your husband is presently one of the best guitar players around ......and THE greatest slide guitar player ......ever.....yep I said that ......name me one better.........she is known for her vocals not her guitar ......you go up there and share the stage with Derrick and Markus and don't act timid .....I'd love to see it.
This dude is like 70's Rock, P-Funk and Sly rolled into one! OMFG!!!
And he's only in his early 20s!
I met Marcus & the Band a few years ago, I have there CDs. Cool guys👍😎

It's one thing, Marcus can play, but this boy sure can sing also. Nice.
Marcus King is in a class of his own in my opinion ! He's one of the best guitarist that's come out in years ! He does things in some of the songs that defies logic I guess would be the best way to say that ! He's one of my top 5 guitarists .
He's got, and has had for quite a while, a musical maturity the defies his age. The total package, a musical IQ through the roof!
Marcus is certainly world class. Derek is in his own class as well, every note he plays is 100% perfection. But the young buck might out maneuver him
Now, there will be four legendary Kings!
Young Marcus King can stand on his own!
I love these two bands!!!

Thanks for posting this video. I was there that evening. AMAZING concert!
Lucky you!
LOVE EVERY MIN OF IT. SMOOTH. I MEAN GET DOWN. YES.
This kid will ,be as close to SRV that we can get to ,God Rest SRV AND JIMMY as well
I love how Susan just got a big ole grin when Marcus started to really growl when singing- she was digging that!
Insane - how many people are there on stage. I counted with the 2nd track alone 5 guitars, 2 drums, 2 keys plus Bg vocals...etc Jee...!
Yet they don’t get in each other’s way. Amazing

Another great vocal and solo by Marcus King
The Wood Brothers too! Bet it was a great show!
Good gosh! The lost bro of Warren Haynes or what?! very Excellent!! My guess is we'll be hearing a lot more from him!
For us bluesy, rock, black church loving ppl, always looking for that “sound”, this sumbitch has got it son!
Marcus is the real deal.

Looking forward to seeing them all on one bill this summer
If you’re invited on stage with that band you are most certainly a big deal
Wow!!! That was great!!!
Where's Warren Haynes and Blackberry Smoke...that'd be so good
Thanks Dad! Rockit man!
at the 145 mark, susan gave this look like, " go ahead boy, DAM!
The main mommies sent me, Marcus King is definitely high and tight👍😁
Seems to be a lot of confusion but good improv . Marcus is a monster on that ES!
no confusion that's just the master band leader (Derek) letting everyone fill the space and stretch their legs- pretty typical of any TTB show
Yep
That looks like Alecia Chakour singing backup. Where's Hanes?
... e os bateras dando show!
Seen him here in the UK. Before Covid19 struck 'one cool singer!! and his 334 Gibson .Mw
Love this 😎
Category: Sports lol RIP Kofi

If you down voted this hold your head under water for 5 mins
We Know whose the Boss BigDaddyTrucks Marcus King the only OriginalElite
RIP Kofi
Looks awesome, man, but I had a hard time hearing Derek for some reason.
Hearsticles. Derek and Susan sat back to let the others shine.
This dude is really good but it seems like he is trying to get too many licks in to me sometimes (trying to play too fast)....im just going off what i feel ...i dont really know what im talking about
Young players frequently seem to be in a hurry. Lots going on in his head!
@@PC160 sometime less is more, a couple of counts between licks sounds so much better, can't take nothing from him though, he's there real deal.
wait till you see him with his own band doing his own originals

in for my friend tedeschi trucks non riesce a suonare neppure una note
I made a Marcus King figurine out of a potato, a little brown hat, and a red guitar cutout from a magazine
funny

A lot of noodling taking me nowhere

@@bcummings2187 Susan's style I'm sure studies her done deal, she's a professional, shine people don't appreciate good musicians.
@@rickiedecuir8596 WTF??
she knows her role and plays it well.
overrated
