- Did you watch my Haslab Sentinel video and leave with more questions than answers? Hopefully the answers will be contained in this video. Or maybe I just opened myself up for more questions. Who knows?!
Thanks for checking out my video! I started doing UA-cam action figure reviews as another way to enjoy my hobby of collecting figures and other collectibles, and I want to share that with other adult collectors! As time goes on and I'd love to branch out into other toy lines including some classic toys from my childhood in the 80's and 90's! I appreciate the support you give and will continue to do my best to grow and evolve my channel! I collect Marvel Legends, DC Multiverse, G.I. Joe Classified Series, Star Wars Black Series, NECA TMNT, and Mezco Toyz. I'd like to start collecting more of the Mcfarlane DC Multiverse, Transformers (including Earthrise, Seige, and the new Transformers R.E.D.), Ghostbusters Plasma series, Power Rangers Lightning Collection, more NECA stuff (like NECA Horror) and get more involved in the Star Wars Black Series. I'd really like to get into more premium lines including more Mezco Toyz, Hot Toys, Revoltech, S.H. Figuarts, MAFEX, Storm Collectibles, and other imports.

You are awesome. (And patient). I haven’t even opened my Sentinel yet … busy life etc. But I will use your fix whenever I do.
You’re a genius!!! I have a cricket and this is a perfect fix. The fact you used plastic from marvel legends is hilarious 😆
Thanks for the detailed explanation. This is the best fix I've seen. Hasbro hopefully learns from this mistake and implements better stronger ratchet joints in the Galactus figure.
Thank you for this video!!!
You could make a killing being the first to offer a working solution for the sentinels. 7-10 bucks shipped for an 8 pack of washers! Id instantly buy!
I’d pay for that I need 3 sets!
Thanks for the tips!
Great job thank you!
Thanks again….. good information…. Some of the answers were just common sense , but nice of you to demo the answers …. Good job
Thanks for the fix. I see someone posted already that you could make a killing selling a 4 pack of washers $10 shipped 😉 imagine if 10k people ordered 1 to fix their Sentinels.
I’d order them for sure! You should do it
Awesome 👏
My sentinel knees and arm joints are perfectly working and no lose movement on the poses
Appreciate the effort, thanks mate!
Awesome job bro
I used a thin non-skid roll cut to keep my Sentinel from sliding on smooth surfaces.
Would you consider selling sets of these washers?
You should sell washers online i don’t have the tools to make those washers so I would definitely buy 4 of them
Fantastic, thanks a lot for the video. The last part where you try to demonstrate the strength of the fix gives a lot of hope :)
Got it, 5.19 millimeters outer, 3 millimeters opening. Now I just need to make them lol
You didn’t mention a cricket setting. Is there a specific setting to cut these in the plastic.? We attempted today but it did not cut all the way through even on cardboard setting.
I basically found the setting that cut with the most pressure. Pretty sure it was the "metallic leather" setting and even set it to use more pressure.
bro which way do you turn the screw when your taking it out?
What’s odd is your previous video showed that there is a ratcheting piece in the joint but your fix doesn’t help engage that piece. Makes me wonder if they just assembled the pieces in the wrong order or backwards or something. I’ve gotten figures with 2 left arms and butterfly joints before so it wouldn’t surprise me if they just mislabeled the pieces and assembled all of them wrong.
But great investigative work here.
I am sorry for asking. :( Since the metal screw goes in the plastic threaded insert, won't it with time warp or get ruined due to the pressure applied by the metal screw? I don't mean to criticize; I am just asking. I am actually thankful for you having taken your time to record and investigate, but I am worried too. Thanks again.
The washer warps, but still does it's job. Remember, I'm not advertising this as the end all be all solution. It was just something I tried and, for the the moment, is working.
@@FigureHeadReviews, of course not. I am thankful for your having shared your ideas with the community and having taken your time to record these videos.
I think that as the goes by, we'll eventually be looking for another solution like longer or larger screw. That's the fix I'm hoping to eventually get around to.
Basically, one could also just shave half a millimeter off the end off the screw, result would be the same.
It is painful to know that you had to explain, in detail, some of the basic/common sense things that you did. Props to you for your patience in making this video. Great job coming up with a fix, even if it might only be temporary.
Makeem and sellem
Still an absolutely terrible design. That little screw to support that knee.
