When he is tinning and soldering the wires to the middle two j16 holes , when he was finished soldering , the top j16 hole has been filled in with solder as well , is this for a specific purpose or is it just my ocd kicking in or was it done for a totally different reason than crossfire as i been waiting for my crossfire unit for ages and dont want to make a mistake ,thanks
When he was applying solder to the board the iron has touched the top pad and the solder has flowed onto it. Nothing to be worried about there, just make sure they don't bridge and short out.
I do not really want to install Crossfire Rxs in Tiny Whoops and small foamies, so I assume that to use the DX9 for regular DSMX receivers, you simply switch back to the original settings in the Serial Port Setup menu9? Would disconnecting the cables from the Crossfire module be necessary also, or not necessary?
So they say PPM has about 10x latency of the "CRSF" protocol, correct? BUT Crossfire is amazing though? what's the latency of Crossfire? 1ms? (Just a guess). Meaning PPM would be 10ms, which isn't too bad is that's the case :)

Not sure why hey use that adapter cable, why not solder the blue and black wire to the orange and black wire coming from solder point? and why not cut a small slit in the plug and slip wire through and make it look professional?
