  • Опубліковано 30 гру 2016
  • Back in 2012, Vlad and Chi Ali sat down for an interview during which Chi Ali related a story about a confrontation between him and the brother of his child's mother. "It happened so fast...I ran up on him, I backed out and clapped him," Chi Ali said. Chi Ali then details being on the run in Atlanta. "If I get locked up, life is over," he said.

Actually Shyah the saying I've always known is 15 gets you 20 and refers to underage girls (who usually lie and say they're 18) ;but you're saying is right to and really it's a decision made and action taken in 1 second that can completely change a person's(or a bunch of people directly and indirectly touched by the situation) life in ways there is no coming back from.

What I took away from this interview is how you can make a split second decision that effects not only you but the person and persons. It's a trickle down effect that you won't realize until your in a situation like this.

Absolutely! It's also bad taste to fight with ur man in front of friends. If you do get in an argument in front of friends or family (likely cuz they live with u) with ur man....don't let anyone come to your defense, they are trying to help, their heart is the right place, but things escalate when someone feels ganged up on.

@@NubianQueen100 it's not about what a"Real man" would do. Women kill me saying what a real man a do when you've never been a young black man/boy for half a second of your life. Being young black and in the hood it's so many obstacles, pressures of not being the one to be bullied, needs to fit it, and lack of leadership and guidance to really show young black men how to properly handle situations. When all u see is murder, drug addicts, gangs in your environment it's hard to grow into your full potential because u don't know any better. That's why most black men go to prison and come home with a more level way of thinking. It has nothing to do with being a "real man".

Jesusjuice32 "ghetto"? jesusjuice sounds gay, fool! Stop with your ignorant assumptions. Ghetto is a noun not an adjective. It describes a place where so-called "Jews" resided. By the way as the saying goes, "what you don't know can hurt you". Threats are serious and if you don't know the meaning, learn how to read, comprehend and possibly understand by using a dictionary. In case your silly ass don't know the meaning:
      threat (0ret) n. a statement
      or other indication of intention
to hurt, punish, destroy etc. || an indication that an undesirable event or catastrophe may occur. 🖕🏿

      1. Worldly view: A Real Man is someone who is goal oriented knows his purpose and lives only to achieve that purpose
      2. Gods view: A real man is a man who is like Christ, dedicating his life to Gods purpose only
Both of these require you to be absolutely committed to something and growing, so in essence a real man is someone who is constantly growing towards something never stagnant!

He isn't promoting it. Everybody that come in here and talks about their past fuck ups are proof shit happens and show the consequences and also shows the healing and growing. They not in prison they so regret and fully understand how to do shit different. That's the issue with like there NEVER going to be a moment where shit is just good and positive most if not all things good come from bad situations. Why not show the real unlike these (others) that say I became a millionaire at 22 but fail to mention the fight and the negative that came with it.

Vlad interviews folks about all sorts of shit. negativity is a part of life. somebody watching this might view it as a cautionary tale. especially because Chi is expressing regret at 9:40. i grew up listening to Chi Ali...so for me this isnt negative. ive been waiting 20 fucking years to hear this man speak. we live in a world where systems put folks in economic situations that influence people to harm them selves and their own. you gonna be tripping about anything you need to look up systemic racism or the prison system to start. war on drugs(aka war on black and brown folk) etc. these 'negative' stories arent happening because black folks have plenty of jobs in the hood. motha fuckas are starvin

It takes alot for a man to admit he was wrong and say it shout out to CHI ALI.
