Scratchbuliding Challenge: How Much Terrain Can I Make from a Packing Insert for Killteam/Necromunda
Вставка

- Making the ordinary into the extraordinary is one of the most important things we do here at the Forge of Sagas. Today we are taking a packing insert that came from a sink faucet and turning it into as much industrial terrain as possible. This project really shows how much you can do with really basic materials. I hope you enjoy it!
Edit: Thanks to one of my viewers for pointing out a few audio hiccups that happened during the initial upload to UA-cam. Here's the cleaned up version.

Thats a a truly beautiful packing insert. So many good shapes an absolute gold mine
Wow, unbelievable! I love your ability to see the potential in everyday bits and pieces.
Are you planning to make more terrain tutorials?
Excellent stuff, man! Glad I'm not the only one who sees projects in mundane objects...
and keeps them for that "a-ha" moment.
Man you killed it on this build it all works together and the paint really unifies the look great job.
love love LOVE packaging material. been using it for a while on my train layout.
Love it❤
I remember doing this when I was a kid! Nowhere near the detail. You just made me remember a part of my life.❤
Fantastic challenge and pay off! You really really did a great job
Absolutely love builds like this. Can't wait to see what else you come up with. 👌
Thanks! I've got a bunch of ideas in the pipeline, so stay tuned here and on Instagram.
Excellent work. Subbed. I like the popsicle stick girders.
Thanks, I appreciate your support! It's a pretty simple trick, but you can't beat the results.
Excellent builds. This is why we hoard and collect so-called rubbish [trash]. Some great ideas there. Thank you. Subscribed )O(
Nice builds.. the wonders of packing material..
Indeed. I've been saving up a bunch of material to do another build. Going for an ash wastes settlement theme
@@forgeofsagas sounds good.. best of luck with your channel
Filthiest terrain I've seen on here - that's praise, by the way. Excellent combined effect.
Thanks! I do like to go hard with the grime on my industrial terrain. Helps give it that "lived in and shot up" feel.
@@forgeofsagas I could add: really, really good use of the original shapes as starting points, and as prompts for ideas of your own.
That's the goal. I show the process so people can be inspired to do their own projects. Thanks for the compliment :)
Keep up the good work. It looks glorious.
Thanks! I've got a few projects on my desk, so I'm going to get some new stuff out soon
Nice to see New Glarus represented. Awesome terrain builds!
Thanks. Gotta support the locals!
Great ideas. Keep these coming please, much appreciated!
Will do! Already working on something Orky for Orktober.
Really nice build. Well done Sir!
Thanks! It was a lot of fun to do.
noooyce man, simple and effective!
Must get me one of those packing inserts, can always throw the contents away when I’m done 🤪
Lol. Exactly. Gotta get those crafting materials somehow.
Great build man! I really enjoyed this a lot
Glad you liked it! Feel free to share it with your friends so we can grow the channel.
Solid work!
Thanks!
Chicken wire bridge. Genius.
Thanks. It's simple but effective.
Who’s grand man🤔
Just discovered your channel...this is cool, you made a lot of good stuff with that. Liked & subscribed
Glad you enjoyed it! Welcome to the Forge!
@@forgeofsagas thank you very much 😉. Glad to be here
Thanx, I really appreciate this build. I used to do that too, but got lost after a divorce etc... Now I feel more like enjoy making terrain again.
Very nice! The only thing i would say is regarding the toy pipes. You said youd provide a link to them in the description, but you havent ^^
I could have sworn I had it in there. Must have gotten overwritten by something else. It's there now. Thanks for the catch.
@@forgeofsagas no problem :-)
The Exterior pattern makes for a great "stucco" surface for desert terrain.
Indeed. I was doing weathered and shot up concrete, but it would definitely be great for an ash wastes board as well with a slightly different color scheme.
In the grim darkness of the far future, foremen don't get windows to look out of.
Nope. They have to go up on the roof and look. Even in the 41st millennium, you have to get your steps in somehow.
They're there to work not day dream out a window.
What is the website that sells this stuff 😭😭😭
Which stuff? I used a lot of different things in that build lol
