I must say, this is a great video for 1st time users. From unboxing to how-to, you covered it all. I just got my Creality Halot-One, and I'm excited to use it!
@@ElCompi14 the build plate is not huge, so if you intend to make large prints, then no. If you're fine with keeping it under 6", it's a great printer.
My Halot One arrived this week and also went for the Elegoo Water washable resin. It's a great little machine. I do 20s base layers and it still sticks really well to the plate. Also, you can hang the build plate so that you don't risk damaging the prints in the basket.
@@lanesteele240 I get that, but due to certain conditions in the lot beside ours, it's very possible that anything I leave outside might get snagged by someone who thinks my prints look pretty.
This is a great video. My wife just got me one of these as well as the cure station for Christmas and I can't wait to use it! I've never done 3d printing before.
It's great to see this because they REALLY dialled back on the information for the novice user. My instruction manual directed me to the website. The website manual was threadbear.
Thank you for the detailed look into this product. Never done 3d printing before and this Halot-One seems like a good place to start. Same with you, I basically don't have access to a Windows machine, so showing the Mac option is really appreciated.
I really love your videos. The honest walkthrough review and tips are extremely helpful. I purchased a Halot last night and am eagerly waiting for it to be delivered so this could not have come out at a better time. Thank you so much!
Just so you know, you’re instantly KILLING your LCD with that amount of exposure time. It only needs to be 3-4 times higher than your normal exposure time. For clear resins it’s a little different
Super awesome video!!! This is very informative and in-depth! My brother just got one of these for his birthday and I'm going to help set it up. Thank you for spending the time to show us how to do this!
Very helpful video! I recently got Halot One Pro via Amazon and it was saying that it is all-in-one machine so I believe you’re right that clicking the “cleaning” can cure it if it goes and goes. I found it better to cure it first before removing from the platform after printing. Because I damage other parts of the figures and there is no golden way to fix them afterwards.

Hi I appreciate the video. Its been a big help. I have the Halot-Lite and I tried to convert the file from the ctb to Halot file type like you did. I copied the settings from Creality's site but when I transfer the file to the printer, I get "This model does not match the printer" Error. Did you experience anything like that? Or do you have a suggestion?
My printer received a software update OTA, and does have the feature of raising from the vat to show the print when paused. Maybe worth adding to your review.
thank you so much for doing this video I was lost with the instructions. MINE did not come with all that extra stuff our the brush. Mine also did not have the same settings yours has. Just ordered one of these so good to get some insight, will be my first time using a 3d printer, so still not sure whether alcohol or water washable resin would be better, on one hand alcohol based seems to be better but if water washable isn't as noxious might be able to have it in my living room while doing other things, as I hear they shouldn't be left unattended
Very informative video. Now to watch the elegoo mars 3 Review and decide, as my 13yr old son and I have been talking about getting a 3d printer. I build 1/35 scale model kits so am thinking this wld b great for figures n weapons for kitbashing. Thanks again Vlad 👍🏽
My brother got a Halot-one and he is kindly letting me use it for time-lapses for my channel, but when it came today, the LCD screen that projects the UV was cracked in the corner! Is that something to be worried about? IT's just a small crack about the size of a hair.
The lcd doesn't project the light, rather it blocks the uv light with patterns needed to make the layers for the print. Since it's an lcd screen it might not last long with that crack but that lcd screen is easy to replace and install.
With 4k and above now available why would a manufacturer opt to continue offering 2k? For a few more bucks you can get a printer that is twice as good!

I don't understand how you get yours to print. I had to troubleshoot like 800 things and then added dry lube to the vat and re leveled in the vat. I got the amera labs test to print and everything sense refuses to stick

When I level my bed I just cannot get the right side to be as secure as the left side. Even when holding it down, as soon as I secure the left side screws the bed seems to lift slightly on the right, so there is a lot less friction on the paper on the right side than the left and it does seem enough to impact the print results. Anybody know if this is normal?
not sure if this would solve your issue but when securing the screws you must first barely tighten them on each side and then gradually tighten more going back and forth on all sides. For example, Tighten Right Back, then Left Front, Then Right Front Then Left Back and keep going in that pattern always tightening a little more. Because if you tighten one side too much the plate may shift slightly on the other side as you have mentioned. Hope this helps
