I thought you might like a look at this very original 1962 Chrysler Newport. With the exception of a fresh coat of paint, this is a completely original survivor and it's still in really amazing shape. It's a four door sedan, but I think it's unique styling still makes it pretty interesting. I hope you like it, thanks for watching!

My first car was a 62 Chrysler Newport, I paid $100 for it and it never let me down...

Love the survivor cars like that, too bad they didn't put the original wheels\hubcaps back on it, thanks for sharing.

I always liked the styling of the 60-62 Chryslers especially the dashboard with the electroluminicent lighting, way ahead of it's time.

Very Nice And My Year!!,My stepdad had one of these in the seventies,it was a 383!,That dash looks awesome when the panel lights are on! Real bright green with bright Red on all the gauge needles! Sadly it burned to the ground due to electrical issues.

Never seen anything like it....I wonder how that push button transmission operates, by some rod or cable system ?

      It uses a cable linkage.

That engine must have the classic-sounding gear reduction starter motor!

The bodylines in the rear fenders of the '62's were the year after they shaved off the tailfins, but you probably know this already.
