You can get a torque angle adapter for around 70$. Other than that you can always get some sort of square and where you start and where it should line up once it’s done. Best of luck. Thanks for watching!
I use this black gasket maker, called the right stuff. They have their own little caulk gun you can use I was actually using a Milwaukee electric caulk gun. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
I know the manual says to not use oil on the head bolts, so does that mean install them dry? I've always used ARP lube, but I've never ran across a manual saying to install head bolts dry.
Yes installing them dry is fine. Adding arp lube to the face of the bolt not the threads is also ok. You just don’t want any kind of thing on the threads or it will throw off torque which is most important. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Personally I would. You already have all this work invested that’s the best thing to do in my opinion. I check the heads for warpage or unevenness with a straight edge in many different positions. If it looks good I lap Valves and check how well it holds. I’m glad my video was able to help. Best of luck. Thanks for watching!
Awesome thanks for the sub! But don’t worry I got you covered here’s my video on doing the timing: How to replace timing chain on a 2.0L Hyundai Elantra ua-cam.com/video/qiFJ2nwH2Y0/v-deo.html Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
