@@maminwadukwe7117 the schools I applied to how many admitted me and why I choosed lindenwoods university, then they asked what I intend to use the certificate to do I was also asked why I didn’t go to any other university in the world and why USA that’s all

Hi Eugene, could you tell us the questions you were asked and how you answered?
@@oluwaseguna8922, the VO asked the following questions: name of school, type of program, if I have finished my masters degree, where my parents stay and if I was offered scholarship. Basically he was checking consistency with respect to what I filled on my DS160 form. That was it. In less than 3 minutes am done.

I just got my visa. The first question was "WHat is the name of the UNiversity you are going to""? Second question, who is funding it? Third and last question, what are you go study and why......that was it...it was under 5 mins and I was out. My answer was short and straight forward...

Just to clarify, for the relatives part, they only want to know about your IMMEDIATE relatives (mother, father, siblings). You don't need to list anything else because those are not immediate.

What if your Mother's Uncle is the person you'd stay with in the United States, should one mention this?
@@olurinoyindamola3281 I guess if you’re asked the question about having relatives, you could explicitly say that they’re not your immediate family, just some extended family. This way, if you’re also asked where you’ll be staying and you mention this mother’s uncle, it won’t be contradictory.

Amara!!! Catalytic conversion of biomass is what I'll be researching for my PhD. I have already interviewed with two professors on a joint project, and that's how I was accepted to the school. I'm preparing for my interview, and I decided to check some videos where I stumbled on yours. Apparently, that's the same response I planned on giving the VIO when the question on Research interest is mentioned. What a coincidence!!

I live here with my husband. If they ask about my plan after graduation, can I simply say that my plan is to return to United Arab Emirates since my husband lives and work here.

Hi. Yes, you can definitely say this but make sure to emphasize that although you will be returning to the UAE because your husband lives there, you also will put your degree to use. So, depending on what your course of study is, think of what you can do after graduating with the degree you're going for. I hope this helps.

Exactly this. Just say you’ll be arranging private off campus accommodation but that will be after your visa approval.
Hi Amara, hope you're doing great. I currently have an appointment date that is after my expected program start date. I applied for an expedited interview but was rejected (likely because I have been denied before). Can an F1 visa still be granted after the start of the program?

Hi. I don't think the questions are going to be different from usual. The only thing I'd say you should prepare for are questions relating to whether or not you plan to travel with your child and regardless of your response, be ready to explain what your plan is for their childcare.

Is it advisable to say you only applied to 1 university? I heard it doesn’t show seriousness, but the first and only university I applied to gave me scholarship so there was no need to apply to others

Is there any thing changed from the previous time? That is if you were refused before more than once
If someone has been accepted to a certain associate degree program but first they have been issued addmission on english program (as a bridge course) says i20 will be updated on completion of english program to the actual course. my question if asked what are you going to study to US.? should them mention the main course while not in i20? or should them stick to the i20?

I don’t think it is necessary. When they ask for family members on your application form I believe they’re referring to immediate family so your parents and siblings.

I want to know if the estimated average cost and students funding on my i-20 form under financials is the same? Like is the amount on my bank statement suppose to be the two totals added up??
For instance estimated average cost=23 & students funding=23... Bank statement amount 23+23=46... Or the amounts are all the same ...
Hi. Your bank statement should be at least equivalent to your estimated average cost. Whatever you provide as your bank statement/available funds is what will reflect as ‘student funding’
