Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today, after much effort, we bring you a comprehensive showcase on The Midnight dimension mod! This mod adds a ton of new content to your game, and it's not even fully done yet! You can download this mod for Java versions 1.12.2, 1.14.4, and 1.15.2 although only the 1.15.2 version is getting content updates. I would definitely recommend downloading this mod for yourself! Make sure to leave a like if you enjoyed and subscribe with notifications turned on, you won't want to miss when I release my mods.

Impressive. This is an excellent extensive look into The Midnight mod and its features which I myself have a hard time keeping track of. I will definitely be using this video for reference if anyone needs general info about the mod.
Please update 1.12.2 version too, nobody plays modded 1.14/1.15 because no author updates their mods to these versions
@@-etrigan3011 The mod has gotten too complicated to continue updating on 1.12, and the way mods are coded is much different from when it was from 1.12.2, so no, we will not be updating the 1.12.2 version.

@@Jonathing So hey, I have a small disagreement with how dark pearls are used. In my opinion they seem a little overpowered, and should only have 1 use when you use them as rift summons. That's about it, thanks for the great mod!
Edit: I noticed when playing with Biomes o Plenty, the portal/rift wont appear. Maybe the dark pearls could have a very rare chance of spawning in chests so no matter what mod you use you can always access the dimension? idk, keep up the good work.

I remember when the rift used to be a separate entity instead of a structure, im glad rifters can still drag you in tho.

That was an awesome showcase man! Every other showcase I've seen of this mod is really confusing and hard to follow, but yours was clear and was very comprehensive.
For future showcases, could you perhaps show some small builds or designs with the new blocks? The blocks in this mod are really pretty, and I would have loved to see what they look like together!
Thanks! That's a good idea, I'm not the best builder but I can definitely try that for the future. I'd also recommend downloading the mod for yourself and seeing what you can come up with, as I'm sure the community can build a lot better than me!

Good, extensive showcase. You have an excellent presentation style. My only suggestion would be to keep plugs/interjections to a lower amount, but overall I think this is a great overview of the mod.

Oh yeah. I spoke with the devs of this mod. They are fixing the coding in the mod. They said it was a mess lol. But this update will be out soon meaning new content will be flying in. I keep my eyes peeled for that and anyone else whom may read this message keep your eyes peeled to for the much needed new content

This mod as alot of potential that almost rivals Dimensional Doors mod the "Limbo" World (With it's pretty awesome!)
I got 1 suggestions for the Midnight if you don't mind!
1: This world need a Cult! Maybe add like a Cult Twmple that worships the "Dark One" which is evil and maybe add a little bit of a backstory around the world. Heck! You could dig deeper and found out the "Dark One" the cult worship that is none other than "Herobrine" if you find a broken statue of itself or do some kind of puzzle that'll lead to him and defeat the "Dark One" itself!
Those are pretty cool ideas but a couple things:
1. I'm not the dev of the mod :)
2. They have a boss planned already, although there's very little public details

If I'd made rift in the Overworld using Dark Pearl and when I spawn in the Midnight and I'll made another rift right there, will I spawn in the Overworld around the rift I came from, or will I spawn in some random place?

Could somebody create a addon that adds a portal that you can build to go to the midnight for 1.12.2? Its getting annoying having to run around at night to find one of those rifts.

They're updating to 1.15.2 next as 1.16 forge is still working on dimension support.

The developers will not work anymore on the 1.12.2 version unless a critical bug is found ~ it's no longer being maintained. I believe they're also going to drop support for all versions up to 1.15.2, instead doing a clean rewrite for 1.16 once Forge updates to 1.16.

Imagine if there was a update where u could break bedrock but you need a netherite pickaxe and it has to have a enchantment called the unbreakable which then let's you break bedrock and under the bedrock layer will be a type of block from the midnight and thus leads you to the dimension.. Just a thought lol.
