Took him 3 games, but finally, Max managed to save someone, and in doing so, saved himself. Also, a perfect way to describe Max: A pessimist is just a dissilusioned optimist. The way he sees the world is always dark and dank, not because that's how he sees it... that's because that's how it truly is. You can hide the darkness by covering it up, but sooner or later, the darkness seeps through the cracks in the lie.

It would still have all the gameplay mechanics' from MP3 and have the graphic novel cut scenes instead of the cinematic and it goes back to the noir feel that MP1 and MP2 had.

Max: Panama is fucking magic, what a great track whole soundtrack is fantastic. this game is very underrated. it's different from the first 2 but still awesome in it's own right
I swear the 5th track called "Torture" 17:29 really represents the torture that Max has been through his lonely years, and it all started when his wife was killed, and yet the man still lives on to fight another day. This game is ridiculous. Max Payne is one of the only games that has ever made me feel like I was going through all this shit with the main character. I literally felt so bad for him by part three. He's gone through sooo much. :-(

Let's let the guy drink beer and enjoy that eternal sunset for the rest of his life. He deserved it. Health did an outstanding job with this one. I thoroughly enjoyed the game. It may have taken a darker turn, but it still delivered for me. (Yes, I played the last two games and I really enjoyed those too)
Goddamnit, this is some of the best study soundtrack music, but it REALLY depresses me to think of this game. I completed the game a long time ago, but all I can remember is failing New York Minute Hardcore time and time again. Its literal pain.
A couple of interesting details that I don't think anybody has mentioned: Pay attention at the beginning of the "Max: NJ" track. That melody is the Max Payne main theme (the original theme with the cello. The one that sounds during the intro/opening credits) slowed down 300%. Also, at some point of the track "Dead" you can hear the sounds of a baby crying (the same sounds from the dream sequences in MP1).
I love this game. It felt like near the end you were on legit suicide missions. Felt so fucking impossible and intense. This soundtrack, Health is incredible. They definitely know how to create a soundtrack for a game.
Such a great soundtrack, such a great game... the Finale gets me every single time - just gears you up and in the process, you get completely absorbed by it :D

Literally one of the best ever games EVER EVER FUCKING EVER MADE. Proper soundtrack proper character proper story PROPER GAME. Take care Max where ever you are. You deserve it.
I think the game needs a prequel rather then a sequel as it ended so nicely. What I think they should do is like have it set just before MP1, so like max is fighting crime with his friend Alex, it'll be great to know more stories between the characters and get to know more about him. Like, if you read the comics, it showed that max and alex were busting drug points together
***** I know I'm a month late, but... Pre-MP1 payne could, potentially, be at one of his lowest points in his life. Bear in mind, by the time Alex dies, Max has had time to setting into the grief and copes somewhat via his painpill addiction. If cut back before that; we have a very freshly injured man who's only just beginning to cope on drink and pills to help him come to terms with his wife brutal death. What I'm getting at is that a prelude game would explain his downwards spiral that lead to him taking the more dangerious undercover jobs and let us explore the cracks that formed in his mind as they did.
actually a better idea is to have the game set in 2 timelines one before the events of mp1 and one after mp3 . after all max have unfinished business in NY
***** after his wife and child died he wasn't drinking his payne off. He actually went undecover to find bastards that caused this tragedy. So i guess you could write a story of how he worked undercover.
This game was absolutely dope. not just good game play and action but also good story. i hope Max make a family once again. Poor guy. He reminds me of someone.
I think Max Payne 3 was incredible, but there's something about Max Payne 2 that was just mind-blowing for me as well. Both are outstanding in their own right.
"Max Finale" seriously gave me goose bumps. After chopping my way through an entire fucking army of heavily armored UFE, taking cover in that hangar as Becker shot grenades and more and more soldiers came rushing in, sirens WAILING from the police vehicles, and taking one last pain killer before lifting my head up to take my headshots carefully with my G6 Commando in Bullet Time...

What I think they should do is like have it set just before MP1, so like max is fighting crime with his friend Alex, it'll be great to know more stories between the characters and get to know more about him. Like, if you read the comics, it showed that max and alex were busting drug points together
Max wouldnt be Max without the tragedies he lived trough...
Gábor .Gáspár It'll be after his wife's death ofc, so max is still in grief just not at his worst.
Excelent soundtrack for a excelent game.
Can't help but love 56:32, "Pills". I've had my fair share of late night drinking binges, and that tune is EXACTLY what they would all sound like.
1:09:13 perfect for John Wick
The Last week I replayed this game, but I wanted to play again listening to these soundtracks
1:02:20 Max: Finale: You are almost at the end of this nightmare Max, just one final push.
I like the part when he says to himself " Move , Max! " .
tears is good
That fucking feel when tears comes on in the airport and you just run out guns blazing. Gonna replay it now
who thinks max panye is similar to the film man on fire
Nice picture
I got the same impression, man!
I am looking forward to MAX's coming back
fuck gta 5 , Max Payne 3 all days
Rest in Peace James McCaffrey!!!!!!! :(
Max Payne 3 is a good game, but Max Payne 2 is a masterpiece.
Yeah
Thumps up if you still remember the hotel mission and when you get close the door " you listen ahah yes fuck me "
someone was having sex hahha
EL MATADOR Created a save file specially before that.
MrJetairliner100 Lol
I think Max Payne 3 was incredible, but there's something about Max Payne 2 that was just mind-blowing for me as well. Both are outstanding in their own right.
El Matador hahahah dude!!
this game is like never-ending trip, you just simply dont have time to stop, story continues and go on and on and on.. and thats what i like
My favorite song is "Tears"...!!
I just replayed Max Payne 2, never realized how hilarious the AI and ragdoll effects are
combat drugs is the best(my opinion)
I agree wholeheartedly. Tears is equal, and guns, kill, and finale are tied for 2nd.
it cannot be played because it is on 720p. Turn it on 480p and it will play without a problem.
Does anyone else feel like the camera is slowly zooming into the picture? Or it is me O_o
Are you high?
Aha! Naw but i get it with all still pictures on youtube, Makes me feel like its slowly zooming in untill i look away ._. He wont kill me! D:
Nuuuh!! ._.
NinjaFoxWafflez Nuuuh? YES.
If you move your mouse through the slide bar you'll see that the picture is moving slightly down and then up. So yeah, basically you're right.
