    I would say patience is important when building a DIY and to not rush anything.

      Patience is a virtue for sure, I’m learning that taking my time normally equals better quality

    Please guys dont full over man-hole covers, drains or anything else the city needs access to. That is the fastest way to get a spot destroyed. DIY on!🤘🤘

    Most mortar mix is too much sand to cement ratio. I always mix in plain Portland cement to quickcrete mortar mix. Takes longer to dry, but it’s super pro quality.

      @@ZackDowdy what about a little ledge or something Like that? Just a couple of bricks an old stone stuff. The bricks Like a little Wall as the foundation, the stones into it and then much concrete between and on top of those Things! Me and my Friends Just found a old House, perfekt concrete foundation! Would be super cool If you keep Up the nice DIY Videos. And i think when you got the DIY " Basics" then you may could do a little quarter or something. I think everyone would Like that! But- Do what you want!
      You are the one who is gonna skate it, Not me ( would be hard cause im from Germany)
      Keep it up- See you!

    Awesome video. Great tip on keeping it little wet as well as using a good filler. Overall awesome job and a rad spot.

      @ZackDowdy  5 років тому +1

      Thanks man! The filler really saved so much concrete & time. Lesson learned was to let it cure a lot longer for sure.

    The problem with your doing is it’s gonna chip at the bottom. Then you’re worse off than you were before you added the crete.

    • @ZackDowdy
      @ZackDowdy  4 роки тому

      Dill Humpston Little bondo on the bottom & your good, also the liquid concrete is good for bonding the old w/ new. You’re right that it’s a potential issue.

    • @Graeberwave
      @Graeberwave 3 роки тому

      Is there a way to prevent chipping in the first place?
