U can attend with any amount of gap, provided ur reason is genuine, and, u need to prepare strongly for the interview on whatever domain u worked previously.

Regarding Notice period discussion. Do we need to discuss it with Manager or HR ? In your video, discussion is with Manager. Can HR do something about this notice period?
The policy varies from company to company. Some companies hold the first month of notice period salary while others hold the last month of notice period salary and settle the same with the FFS(full and final settlement).
