Bollinger Bands give you a range within which the stock is expected to move. It's a means to measure volatility. When the stock breaks on either side [ up or down] it's referred to as a BB breakout

To explain this simple, your team really worked very hard in background, keep it up! One question. Can you also make video on BB on day chart? BB %b and BB Width? As well, should we keep STD at 20,2 always? On NSE100 stocks or momentum stocks, can we use lower STD as entry point?

It's a pretty simple and easy strategy.
However just an observation that in the chats it wasn't the first candles that broke through the upper B.B but rather the second or the third and then set was then based on that particular candle.
Is this done just as an example to simplify and explain the process?
Also where do we place our initial SL? Would be at the entry candles low or the recent Swing low?

Yes, I believe it works for smaller time frame too. In fact, I do use it on 1 min and 5 min time frame, and found it very helpful and easy to use.

Im confused. when should you enter? during the breakout of the BBB candle?
Video is great ...first of all let me congretulate you for giving such great content..
But one question though...when should we enter the trade? Is it as soon as candle closes above BB OR should we wait for some confirmation? ..
You must include some false alert references too. Otherwise people start using it as the only indicator and lose their money. You gave a warning but an example is a better way.
If the price breaks the upper band and closes above it, more likely the chances of market are going high.
It is best to report the crypto scam to a legit money recovery company they will track down the criminals and get back your funds within 2 days

If volatility goes beyond bolinger band then the chances are high that stock will go up
if price moves beyond volatility the chances of going up becomes higher
What is I start to observe price when it touch lower BB
And buy when it starts to move up.
If price moves above the volatility the chances are going up are higher.

Hi thank u for the education. Amazing but most of the times u r on very long time frames like weekly and monthly. A lot of trade on 1hr,4hr, and daily time frames. Does all this strategies work on this lower time frames. ??
I personally don’t believe trading on short time frames so am not the best person to explain it. In my experience lower timeframes give no advantage other than decreasing hair on head and increasing brokerage costs. - Prateek

Following observations ...
1. Simply use the term "period" when describing the 20 period SMA (it is the best generalization).
2. Please use the term "bands" (like rubber bands) for the 2SD lines. You may explain it as an "ENVELOPE" (most people understand that word) and you may bring in the important point about 2SD keeps (closing) price within the envelope around 95% of the time.
Rest okay. But you may want to use a combo of MACD, Stochastic RSI as well as BB and 2 different time periods (monthly/weekly) for candles so as to use the first as early entry and larger timeframe as confirmation of longer period of trend running (you could extend position).
I have been watching your videos from zerodha varsity.. You explain well
50% of Candle crosses the upper BB, will definitely cause an upper move, this is as per my little knowledge.

I've heard it said that price stays above the Bollinger band only 5% of the time but I find this interesting. Definitely worth trying.
