Sir since last few days I have been watching CPR by King research inTradingview and I noticed that it contains three lines red , black and green. And sometimes the sequence is red black green and sometimes the sequence is green, black and red.So what is the significance of the two sequences
Observe the formulae. You yourself will understand. Can (H+L+C)/3 be above (H+L)/2 ? It's possible. Right? That scenario pushes the BC above the pivot. Can 2P- BC be below the Pivot? That's possible. Right?

Lets understand a trending market first, I would call a market trending if the high and low are far away from each other. Also the close is either near the high(in this case market was uptrending) or near the low(in this case market was downtrending). Now a sideways market would basically be when the close is midway between the high and low. After calculating the central pivot and bottom line would be close to each other because of how near the high,low and close are to each other. Example 1: Downtrend market (open = 100, high = 120, low = 90, close = 95). (Notice i have assumed the close to be near the low) CP = 105, BCL = 101.6, the lines are faraway indicating sideways for the next day Example 2: Sideways market( open = 100, high = 120, low = 90, close = 105) (Notice i have assumed the close to be exactly the average of high and low.) CP = 105, BCL = 105, the lines are very close indicating trending market tomorrow.
Sir, while calculating all CP, BCL, UCL I have noticed one thing that there are days when the Range comes out to be in negative. Ex. -3.75, -88.6. So how should we interpret that. Please help please
Boss your confusing...in staring you said if the lines are wide, next day it will be sideways, but while explaining your wide lines, your explaining on the same day, wherein it should be sideways next day. Please check it once.

in Zerodha tradingview (on other platforms which use tradingview charts as well) there is no indicator named CPR, but there is "Pivot Points Standard" indicator. Which setting will make it like CPR ?

Hi Prateek... but after applying this CPR KGS on the chart, I am getting too many lines on my chart... so how to remove them. After going into the setting, I am getting Daily0 Pivot, BC,Tc, D1,D2,D3 and many more such opts. There is even tomorrow 1,2,3 etc. SO pls explain the settings also....

Prateek ji, With ref to last example, narrow CPR but not trend. This was most probably due to low volatility that day. MKT reacted with a trend the very next day. Same is noticable on weekly trade. Please check.

Hey no problem at all, my honour :) simply google ‘trading view’. Find the website and goto interactive chart. The same interface will open as in the video. On the top right find the stock and in the same bar select indicators. Choose CPR
Excellent sir even bigeners also easily analysis what should happen next.but one doubt by using this in 5 min or 15 min candle we can trade intraday in options?
Thanks for the video Prateek and Team. :) Intraday - Indicators doesnt worked so much, only price action can help to drive the trade. Better is to use 2 EMA to detect reversal or use volume profile to catch the reversals or momentum trading.
Hi Nimish - generally bigger players know this thus try to keep SL as a little lower than day low or a little higher than day high. This way you'll be safe from stoploss hunters

It depends on personal preference and risk tolerance. Take highly wide for moderate to low risk lessen the gap to increase risk
