The Jason Fischer hybrids are the best of the best. That red has to be seen in person to be truly appreciate. Sort of like the women in the red dress that stands out. Not currently within my budget (assuming you can get them at all) but on the list. Can't wait to see that kovachii sized flower with the J.Fischer red in X years ;-)
Very informative video, thanks for making this. I used to work in a lab (to be exact Kew Garden in London) as volunteer to help them to save the orchid species and try to grow seeds collected from all over the world. Your laminar flow reminded of that period of my life. Don't you sterilise the seed pod before opening it?
@OrchidWeb -- This is the video I needed. I have two multi-floral Paphs spiking that I really want to cross. Do you have any advice on where hobbyists can send the seed pod or seeds to so that they can be germinated and flasked for us?
Thanks Jason...... Been having a lot of trouble getting Phrag. delesandroi to self... is that normal or do I need to improve my skills? I have selfed longifolium and pearcei without issue.
this was just scintillating... like i realized i was getting closer and closer to my screen totally drooling.
Amazing to see ..
