  • We were asked to create a soundtrack for any work in The National Gallery's collection for the show "Soundscapes". We chose the painting St. Jerome in His Study; 1460-1475; by Antonello da Messina. Inspired by this work, we decided to not only create a sound piece but also a sculpture that would attempt to recreate the space within the painting. This became a slightly obsessive, perhaps impossible, but in the end enlightening journey for us.
