Nothing more satisfying than completing multiple quests at the same time.
Isn’t that how games should be played 🤔
So true
Yes, it makes you believe you're good at managing stuff
Yeah! True
Glad I'm not the only one to avoid turning in a quest before I finish the majority of the other ones on my log
Honestly, side missions being a secret plot by the villain to delay the hero is honestly a plot point I wish was used more often.
@@mrlionman5466 Well there's Mass Effect for this: if you do side missions after your crew is abducted and don't go straight to save them some will die at the end, however, some will die if you don't have the spaceship fully ready either or if you haven't completed some loyalty missions. The first playthrough you're almost guarantedd to lose someone.
It would suck if you could totally lose without realizing what was happening, but it would be cool that if you went on too many tangents you’d trigger a critical big thing from the bad guy that you unknowingly were giving them time to prep
@@DoctorX17 There was this story on r/DnDGreentext about a group of players that were supposed to stop an evil necromancer from raising an army of the dead, but one of the players instead started making trades in the first city in order to get some more funds for the quests, which led to him and the rest of the party working with him to buy a trading wagon. Eventually, a couple sessions in, it was all about making trades and commerce, and they had a huge merchant empire running. And then they were overrun by undeads along with every surrounding cities, with the DM reminding them that they were supposed to try to stop the necromancer months ago.
In death stranding you deliver pizza to the villain
I just want to be told off in a game for being 6 days late to a meeting place or have to text I'm five minutes away.
Lunk's smile might just be more horrific than his typical angry face.
Nah, it's beautiful
@@etherealtorsten yee i also agree xD
@@crusader6991 I found it funny.
He's beautiful. Leave him alone 😢
Kinda wholesome, to be honest
Insted of colecting 100, he colected ALL of the butterflies. And it seems the reward was far more useful than for colecting all Korok seeds.
Those korok seeds suck. But people are still discovering new glitches.
Lol
@@rampagent9226 yea, more inv slots suck
the reward for collecting all korok seeds is inf amount of inv slots
@@unknownuser8454 its definitely not. All seeds has hestu give you a much larger poo seed and he will dance whenever you ask him to.
Lunk completed all side quests and unlocked the true ending.
Bdsm with the princess! 👍🏻
@@apeman9238 pow chicka pow wow
Well there's still that secret ending if he did that one riddle quest that wasn't made as a side quest.
Nah he speedrun 100% categorie
That's actually an amazing idea for a campaign. The party is sent to hunt down an evil sorcerer. However the Sorcerer is a shape shifter and keeps steering the party in the wrong direction with side quests, misinformation, and plain trickery right in front of them in plain sight.
Insight check.
@@Perri-Winkle "You succeed, looking deep into the eyes of the friendly farmer, you sense nothing. No lies no deceit. However despite all that you feel something isn't right but you can't tell what. A trick of your instincts? Paranoia? You can't be sure. But that smile seems genuine and you must accept it as so until you are certain."
@@gingerelf Okay but what if I nat 20.
@@Alleis Nothing. A nat 20 doesn't mean I allow you to derail the story or do something utterly ridiculous. It just helps your chances in checks and saving rolls. What you're thinking of is critical 20 which only applies on combat.
@@gingerelf But but I roll big number and get no reward, now I'm sad :(
Looks like the evil wizard has the butterflies in his stomache, a deadly amount.
what's the deadliest sidequest?
I am so unpretty 😭 When I go to the bank, they turn the cameras off. At least I am a big star on UA-cam. So don't feel too bad for me, dear om
Only a link could make butterflies deadly
You are right
@@AxxLAfriku your right, advertisers are more unappealing then furry haters
Killed him with a side quest, now that's an impressive skill
He been practicing the 100% speedrun
Technically it would be a main quest since the bad guy gave it to distract the hero
@@SATELLITEDOWN7735 but he didn't have to accept it
He just wanted to compete this game 100% with all advancements
And in less than 2 hours to claim the refund on Steam...
Hold on, I noticed something. The evil wizard gave Lunk the fetch quest, and with most
fetch quests, you have to return to the quest giver to give the stuff you collected to them. So Lunk technically _"gave"_ the butterflies to the evil wizard.
Well, isn't that the point?
Yes, that's why the quest was marked as complete.
I can’t believe Nintendo would steal C&H’s Lunk idea and call theirs “Link”
Immitation is the sinsirest form of flattery
And yet they sue people for making their own games based on Nintendo property they have no shame
@@Sayonara_Sumi C&H should sue Nintendo back😤
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT Hell Yeah 👌👌👌👌
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT agreed
The transition from anger and determination to happiness and contentment is exactly how it feels when you have long/convoluted fetch quests.
We all are effectively Lunks: we see the thing, we do the thing, we feel good about the thing. We also can easily be distracted by side quests and have to complete everything with little to no care for what's around us.
STC forgot that quest markers exist. after following it to collecting all the butterflies it led Lunk strait to the quest giver which was STC to begin with.
He’s getting better with the smiling, good for Lunk
Lunk's smile kills me everytime🤣🤣🤣
Fun fact: Link's design was inspired by Peter Pan. Mixed with the design and graphical limitations of the original Nintendo, color palettes were at a premium and distinct shapes needed to be used in order to get the semblance of a character (that's why Super Mario has a moustache, for example, so that the nose could be distinguishable in that blocky graphics era). For this reason, it was decided that Link needed a long hat and pointy ears, leaning towards the look of an elf with colors reminiscent of Peter Pan.
Cool
Good
Reeeeaaaaallllllyyyyy ttthhhaaaattrtssss soooooooooooooo cooooooooooool
Seemed they had a bit of indecision about his overall appearance though considering Link I think had brown hair initially, was a redhead in the SNES game Link to the Past, and finally they settled on him being a blond 😂
@@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley its weird to me that you're familiar enough to recognize details like that, but don't know there's multiple incarnations of Link through different timelines
Missed opportunity to say "Lunk is in the discription".
Also I missed Lunk. Good to see him back.
We love Lunk.
We need more Lunk.
wait, I thought that Lunk realized this was all a set up to get him out of his dad's house so his dad could run a milk business and that the whole town was in on it, including the evil wizard who was actually just an actor?
Continuity on this channel?! Where have you been?
No but for real, I’m glad someone else noticed
@@happypasta6 could just be a prequel
Correct, but that'll make it confusing for people who hasn't seen that.
I thought the same thing…
@@happypasta6 They've been doing continuity among shorts for awhile. John Battman, Half Off, Ladder, Harry the Handsome Butcher, the Prison Break, etc.
So happy to see Lunk again! I just rewatched his two episodes recently and hoped to see him again!
He had a third one that's kinda hard to find
Jesus, that smile at the end xD
Caught me off guard lmao
It’s better than his old smile
love that the attempt at cracking a smile goes from "frown" to "not a frown"
JESUS CHRIST, THAT SONG AND THE DAMN BUTTERFLY RIDE GOT ME CHOKES
I wasnt expecting the second episode of lunk and its beautiful!
It’s actually the third
@@d1egomon194 sad that the two previous episods are gone on this channel!
Legend of Zelda Cyanide and Happiness Edition?
Must be a Thursday!
I love finishing two quests at the same time
When the player who did all the side quests does a side quest
now Lunk shall receive a piece of heart too
I was waiting for it for too long! Lunk is definitely the character we need a series of.
Character idea: Gonundorf
Description: Gonundorf is a Lunkified vursion of Ganondorf and is also Stormythorn Castle’s boss.
Oh ! And he’s as strong as Lunk so their fight destroys basically everything else in the kingdom but them so in the end, they settle this with Rock Paper Scissors lol
@@Kaito57 *Tennis
@@gorilli09 Oh, I get it... lol
I love the saga of Lunk. It’s a shame the rest is only available through the show.
If a problem can't be solved with solved with brute force you just haven't used enough of it.
- The Legend of Lunk
That final smile 😂 aaah link, a long time we haven't seen him
The Ride of the Valkyries entrance just made this EPIC for me.
Lunk: "I BRING WAR! Feel my fluttery army!"
I laughed too much 🤣
This is the most emotion other than pure anger that Lunk has ever shown
Having the bad guy secretly wasting the hero’s time with side quests would be actually a pretty good plot twist for a game, tbh :P
Sounds like something Patches would do 😅
FINALLY!!! HE'S BACK!!!
could make an entire series based on lunk and I'd watch it
The way the butterflies swarmed and killed him totally reminded me of Peacemaker
1:25 - The Face every Gamer makes when they achieved 100% Completion.
Always happy to see Lunk again, but didn't his adventure end when he found out everything was fake and killed his dad? Princess died and Stormy lived happily ever after? any of that ringing a bell?
This could've been one of his adventures before the big reveal.
@@DrMostlySane I would love it if Lunk's adventures continued after that reveal but he just went somewhere else to do them. Like he walked along the ocean floor to a different continent. If they do that, they have to get an entirely different villain and cast though...Ganon is available for parody.
Could be one of Lunk's descendents.
@@DragmaWanderer the only way Lunk could have descendants would be to successfully mate, which he can't do, and then die...which he also can't do. So, no. Just the immortal and unstoppable Lunk doing whatever he wants.
Or a reincarnation.
As somebody whos obsessed with the legend of zelda I can confirm this is 100% link
Lunk has gotten better at smiling
Lunk's face change at the end killed me
Imagine there really was a final boss in a game that would pretend to be someone else, and give you side quests.
These quests would not count towards 100% completion, though. They would have nice rewards, sure, but ultimately make the game harder for the player, and should best be ignored.
Would be fun.
Had that in D&D once. A dude kept sending us on fetch quests that were getting increasingly ridiculous and dangerous. Turns out he was trying to off us by sending us dangerous places and could never figure out how we kept coming back each time.
@@dracoslayer16 Nice.
There's some possibilities there, game-mechanics-wise. If the "fake" side-quests actually helped the final boss's plans in some way (e.g. the "100 rare butterflies" are an alchemical reagent they can use to create a weapon/spell used _against_ you later), then it would make sense within the game's lore that completing all the side quests "unlocks the true final boss" - still the same final boss, but with every advantage that the hero "inadvertently" provided them with over the course of their journey. This could be framed as a big twist reveal, or hinted at in NPC chatter or books in _other_ parts of the world ("Did you know that Myrmin butterflies have tiny bits of Windfire Essence in their wings? That's why they sparkle like that! They're so pretty!")
Ah finally! Link, lonk, and lunk!
That goofy smile was the single greatest thing I have ever seen
Honestly, the idea of the people that give you crazy fetch quests actually being the villain trying to deter you would be a cool concept
I love that you give back so much old characters
I like how the princess is horrified that Lunk combusted StormyThornCastle with butterflies but he remembers to smile
The way he floats in dotted with butterflies, while still angry, kills me
Good to know he still acknowledges the C&H show.
Never thought riding into battle with thousands of butterflies would be amazing.
THE way he punches the wizard
WITH BUTTER FLIESS
Lunk misread the quest: Defeat the Evil wizard WITH 100 butterflies
I don't need the evil wizard to give me a side quest, I always find something to distract me when I want to do a quest.
I love this series about lunk so much!
MORE!
1:18 For whoever’s first get butterflied! 😁
I am happy to see this series continue.
Lunks smile is reminescent to him saying "Thank you princess"
That was such a nice and delightful smile. I don’t think I’ve seen Lunk smile.
I just love his terminator vision at the start and how he just changes objective 😂
those were some strong butterflies.
Smile of an angel
Lunk is an adventurer of focus, commitment and sheer f****** will
The way he smiles at the end is just funny as heck
The Monarch just came watching Lunk on his mighty steed.
Lunk knows that completing all the side quests unlocks the true ending.
I’m so excited for more of these, these are absolutely hilarious, thank you for this
Oh yeah, nothing feels better than completing your game to the 100%
Foolish Wizard forgot about quest markers. Lunk knew EXACTLY who to turn it in to.
I would watch an entire series about Lunk. Please more Lunk
U have no idea how happy I am to see you guys bringing back Lunk's adventure series. Love you explosm entertainment ppl
Finishing all the sidequests usually makes the boss battles a lot easier.
I want a series of The Adventures of Lunk
*And now lunk is gonna start the real quest...*
Yup, bdsm with the princess. That quest is a hard one!
Lunk is such a nice guy.
Random Villager: I needs butterflies for my collection
Lunk: *collects 100 of the exact same butterfly*
These cartoons are created by a true genius!!!! It’s always a good story!!!!!
The delivery of that “Huhhhh” was funny af
1:38 Should have said: " *LUNK* in the description" LOL XD LMAO
Narrative of Self is the result of a feedback loop between “Separate Self” & Cosmos 🎈
I just know his dad hired actors and actresses to keep Lunk busy so he can have a peaceful life
Can we talk about how buff those butterfly's must be if it only takes a few of them to lift link and set him down
Oh sweet merciful Triforce, he's back!
And he's learned to smile!
The Lunk actually looks like he is pissed off!
Lunk is like the Quest Terminator
Yes! We finally got a date on that big thing that's coming and I'm really excited about!
Don't worry about the mess, the butterflies will drink that right up
This is a genius idea, a game where at the end the main villan reveals that you are too late to stop him because you did all of the side quests first and they were the one who set all of the side quests to slow you down.
1:08 Fighting the first boss on a 100% completion game.
We need so many more of these!!!
Geez, Lunk unlocked the ‘Butterfly Army’ mount
Lunk is my personal favorite C&H character, so seeing another Lunk animation was a huge treat for me
I was just thinking about more Lunk today. So thank you.
I love Lunk so much! Favorite series!
Lunk is the embodiment of a 100% speedrunner
His face at the end made me burst out laughing 🤣
When you procrastinate the main quest line for side quests and then come back way over-levelled to annihilate the boss.
The thumbnail might be the scariest version of that meme I’ve ever seen. Not just because of Lunk in the jar, but because of what’s gonna happen when Lunk has had enough.
