    So many leather conditioners out there. How would the Nappa Balm compare to VSC or VSB for leather shoes?

    Alan, I am sure you have noticed how much thicker the MDO Nappa Cream is compared to Beauté du Cuir Delicate Cream. If you want the BEST from Saphir, always use the MDO line.

    Hi would you recommend using it on a nappa leather jacket?

    Would the Nappa cream work well as a conditioner for Magnanni shoes with an "antiqued" finish? With the burnishing of the shoe I am concerned about using renovateur and stripping the finish. If so, can I add a neutral polish after the Nappa balm? Thanks for a great video!

      You shouldn’t have any problems with the renovateur on those. Just don’t scrub hard in one spot.
      The cream polish or wax polishes have solvents in them so definitely be carful not to rub hard multiuser are trying to fix scuffing and need the color to blend

      Hey have have magnanni antiqued finish also, what did you eventually used ????. I use the renoveteur after testing on a small area. If you rubbed too hard the color will come off. How was your experience ????

    Clicked on the video hoping to see you actually use it.
    It was a nice surprise though to learn they are 2 lines of the same thing.
    Still not sure why/when I'd use it.
    How is this different than Dubbin?

      The dubbin is much stronger conditioner and works great on heavier leathers. The delicate cream is for exotics or softer leathers like goat or lamb skin

    Idk if you still reply to this video’s comment or not,but I have a question that has been bothering me. I have a pair of redwing 875 in oro legacy. I wanted to condition them, and make them more water resistant for everyday use in winter. But I really don’t want to darken those beautiful leather. Is there any product you would recommend? Thx!

      I would use the delicate cream twice then once it’s dry enough use a waterproof spray like Tarrago nano

    You always make informative videos about saphir products, but I still a little confused because it has so many products. Want to condition some designer bags. I have these in lambskin, calf skin and caviar, in both light colors and black. What would be the best product to use? Want to make them shine, but don't want to darken light colors. Thank you very much.

      Use Saphir Médaille d'Or Nappa Cream. It is much thicker than the Saphir Beauté du Cuir Delicate Cream.

    Can you compare the renovator and the Nappa cream? When should one be used instead of the other ? Can they both be used on leather sneakers ?

    • @aznfarmer
      @aznfarmer 4 роки тому +3

      Renovateur has waxes in the conditioner and a bit of solvents. Those ingredients cause Renovateur to leave a bit of a shine after or in preparation of a shoe shine. If you're not looking for the shine then use the nappa balm. the nappa balm is intended for a natural finish with minimal residue. Both can be used on sneakers but will have a slightly different outcome.
