I am an American and I need help understanding why y'all call The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton? It sounds so disrespectful to me. Why don't y'all call her, Catherine, Princess of Wales? She does not like to be called Kate. She should be called Catherine as it is her name.
Due to their royal status, they don't use their last names. For school, George is George Cambridge. Only blood royals can be Princess and then the name, none blood persons such as Catherine, is Catherine, Princess of Wales.
