South East Asia is having the El Nino weather phenomenon so please limit and time your outdoor activities. Best to start your outdoor activities from 7pm and continue your exploration indoor at 10pm. Rest then and at 5pm, outdoor activities is good to go already. Rain is a blessing to maintain the healthy environment and to reduce the heat too. Please drink a lot of water during this El Nino phenomenon and i wish you guys, a safe journey. 😊
greeting from yyc, love your vid from KL. Hope yu enjoyed your visit!! Love Claire. Just a note, very smokey here in YYC due to forest firest, hd the oppurnity to do a Banff trip today, oh my god a different world, blue skis and sunshine, return to yyc terrible!! Just so your aware what we are dealing with. Cheers, look forward to the next vid!!😷
Thank you for watching Rudy!! Yeah! We don’t come home for a while yet… but nervous for how the rest of the summer will be! Hopefully the mountains stay clear… we will be spending lots of the summer out there! (Keep your eye out for videos of that too! 😏)
It's okay not to be spending enough time outside, Malaysian don't do it often too. Maybe Cameron Highlands or Genting Highlands is more of your thing, since it's chilly there. Cameron Highlands is where plantations there, it's rural like, Genting is where Theme parks, resorts and casinos are.

Correction, historical fact need to be checked. Yap Ah Loy are not the founding father of Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur name is in Malay meaning muddy confluence. Kuala Lumpur already existed as small mining city owned by late Sultan. Chinese labourers and towkays were brought in to mine tin at that time. While Yap Ah Loy did have contributions to the development of mining industry in KL at that time and surrounding area, he is not the founding father of KL. Lets take New York as example, did the imigrant chinese business man developing china town founding father of New York? Surely not. Welcome and enjoy your stay in Malaysia and since you are with small baby, best to have umbrella to protect her from the sun heat. We have cases of small kids suffering from heat stroke recently.
Wet market used to be filthy and smelly as i remembered it but now it is much better. Long ago there were no supermarkets for groceries. So asians go to wet markets. Now wet markets are regularly cleaned and more organised.
@Ryan & Tor BTW, now in South east asia it is "summer". Wherever you go, it is hot. Your summer will come soon in alberta, europe. Malaysia only has 2 weather systems. Hot or rain. That is why we hv fantastic rainforest.
