Thank you so much Ginger man, you have done in 4:29 minutes what our university lecturer has failed to teach us in 4 months. Love you x
🤓
why cant teachers teach as well as you. It took me a few minutes to understand this, yet it took me 2 hours to understand what the teacher was saying in school and even then i still did not full understand it.
good job
I have just learned more from this video than I did in 1.5 hours at college 🤪
i have learnt more in 1 millisecond of this video than memorizing the entire wikipedia data archives

I had no idea my calculator was this POWERFUL thank you so much for this video now I won't suffer in my chem lab 🤗
You are my hero, I was stuck in my math class being the only one with a Casio and no one knew how to do standard deviation on it
my exams are gonna start next week (prepared by my college). and you my friend have explained the whole thing in less than 10 minutes. thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are my saviour
I can not be more thankful for this. I was in a lecture and the teacher was going through this on her calculator and I was sitting there like a lost lamb until I came across your video and quickly watched it. Thank you so much!
My uni couldn’t teach me this, but a man on the internet has done it in 4 minutes. A 4 minute long 8 year old video, has just taught me more than my university did in a whole year.
You saved my life buddy. You pulled your hair trying to figure this out? I almost scalped mine. Well done for figuring it out and thanks for sharing this. You saved my life (
and my scalp).
you helped me 10 min before my exam on this and i got an A+ so thankyou
holy shit i got scored an instant 1600 on my SATs after watching this for an entir 10 seconds
Thank you soooo much. I am a maths teacher and my 17 year olds all have this calculator. This was a very simple way to help them help themselves.
I was just like you crying an hour for my stats homework adding up all the squares of x on my calculator and without even knowing there was such a convenient method of using calculator since my school doesn't teach us this. Thanks bro u saved tons of my time.
omg thank you so much you just saved me from failing my up and coming maths exam this was so helpful and easier to understand than my maths teacher!!!!
Dude, this video was exactly what I needed. You explained this in such a simple way. Was stressing about a stats quiz as I have been calculating all of this by hand, manually entering each equation and it takes ages! You're a lifesaver :-)
I have an analytical chem exam next week, this helped me so much. I was calculating manually which took soooo much time. Great vid!!
This was/is a huge help Justin. Thank You. Saves a lot of time before an exam.
still helping people today and its been 7 years
you just saved my a level biology thankyou haha

lol me three! not all heroes wear capes.
i didn't even know this and i did A-level biology and Chemistry... still got a B and a C though. it all works out in the end
Spent half hour inputting shed full of data and then cocked it up, knew there must be a way of doing it on these new calculators. Good one, well explained :)
mr justin you're such a life saver, you should be totes be names saint george
You helped me so much been up for ages on my birthday trying to do this finally you saved me.

Thank you so much you saved my life with this video. You actually make sense when you explain it all.
You probably just saved my Analytical Chem exam!! Thank you so much for this :D
Thank you so much for this, I nee to take data skills for a Social Work degree and I really do struggle with numbers. This has been a bloody lifesaver!! Thank you again.
thanx man doing revision during holidays and u saved my life
Thanks for the video! :) I know this was uploaded 3 years ago but still wanted to say that it helped me a lot!
you will save seconds of my exam. very clear, thanks
Very nice step-by-step instructions. One correction though, "VAR" on the calculator is an abbreviation for "variable", not "variance". If you want to calculate the variance, just square the standard deviation.
thank you thank you thank you!!!!! Of course my teacher couldn't be arsed to teach us this. YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! YOU HELPED ME !!! :D
You are an absolute legend! This was so helpful :)
thanks mate, great tutorial. Saved me from getting a bad grade in my test

Thank you. This is a very well done demonstration.
Thank you so much for this video, it’s really clear and helping me so much with my statistics module.
Very useful tutorial. Thank you very much for posting. My results were slightly different if I did an exercise manually, but this could well be because the calculator uses all available decimal places...or something like that! Great post! Cheers,PM
This helped me for A Level Biology, thank you!!!
Is it possible to use this feature, or one similar, on this model of calculator to calculate the standard deviation of grouped data?
You have just saved my life
Thank you so much, this saved my skin on a question about standard deviation, I hate it with a passion!
I think you use the mid point for the x values and then use the frequency as you described, then use the population standard deviation from the stat(var) menu. Right?
Is that a University of Plymouth sticker at all on your calculator. Following this on mine atm and the stickers look identical haha, thanks for the help! Life saver!
Hi great video. Do you know how to do this for grouped data, on the same calculator?
Thank you Justin that has helped me a great deal.
This certainly has saved me, thank you
Thank you Justin that helped me a lot , really appreciate it.
Note if you clear the calculator with "all" it will put it back into degrees mode (default) if you were in radians mode.
Thanks, really helps got my final tomorrow and the formula of standard deviation is such a pain to learn
How do you work out Standard Error please. A video would be great. Thanks
Thank you so much for this. Saved my life
