It sounds like they did a whole bunch of rhythm guitar track stacking to get that killer guitar sound. I read in an article in guitar magazine years ago that other artist kept bugging the guy who produced this album with "I want my guitar sound to sound just like that".

They're layered, but it also sounds like John Sykes was using micropitch or detune to get that doubled sound. He also used a Mesa Boogie Mark 3 Coliseum at the time which was a really high gain amp for the time, which is why his rhythm tracks stand out in particular and have a lot of punch.

I have heard Coverdale say that Sykes DID record a solo, but it got 'lost'.

Kalodner said Sykes solo on this sounded metal country and western and he didnt like it all, so had Vandenberg play a safer (and with mistakes... ) solo

What software did you use to isolate the guitars my man, if you ever did use software?

About this tune, I didn't use any software. This is the original stems.

@@NoriyaMatsumoto_e Cool man! So it's the original track stem. Where'd you get it and did you pay for it, how much, if you don't mind me asking?

Сейчас с помощью современной техники можно и не такое создать.Джон Сайкс и другие гитаристы играли так,как им виделось.И это важнее эксперимента.
