As for the rest of Kabam's post of their reasoning behind the changes etc., I dont agree with everything Kabam is saying. I've disagreed enough with Kabam over the last few years to leave my alliance and take a big step back from the game. But this change will allow F2P non-arena-grinders to clear content more easily than ever before in my opinion. I fully acknowledge both in this comment and the video itself however, that for some this is still a bad change. It's a bad change for the small group of players who knock out Abyss-like content in a few days time and don't want that to change. If you're in this camp, feel free to comment here, but also feel free to tell Kabam directly how you feel.

I'm definitely in that group that loves knocking out big content right away. So this is a bad change. I would tell Kabam, but it's pretty clear from their post that they think this sort of play is bad for the game. Maybe they're right, I do think endgame content has changed significantly in the last year or so. But I don't think that's because of 3.2.6, it's because of the power creep with new champs doing unbelievable things. But at the end of the day, Kabam is making this change to stop players like me from clearing new endgame content. Unless, of course, we pay for the privilege to do so.

Normally, I 100% agree with you. But this is hilariously overblown. This is not the best buff in Kabam history. This is exactly the response they wanted. Give us a terrible option, replace with a horrible option everyone thinks it's a win. 5 months for aybss???? yeah I don't agree. Your entire thing is based on the idea that people can't get Lvl 2 revives and the only reason you think that is because you don't open your 4 hour crystals. it's absolutely possible to send them into the overflow when opening a couple weeks worth of those 4 hour crystals. I think being able to hold ten extra revives is fine but I certainly don't think it's a huge buff by any means. I personally don't want to wait a month in between doing difficult content. I still think changing the revive spawn rates in early content is a slap to the face of FTP players and low level spenders and players who simply aren't as skilled as some of the youtubers we see.

Im trying to find a place that does map 6 Aq. Optional war and 300k for Battlegrounds. A lot of alliances say they have a Battlegrounds minimum but halfway in it seems to be false. I will be looking for a new home after bg season 6 ends.

I'm sorry to say but I think this video is extremely misleading. This change is no way a buff. It is a very detrimental debuff. With 3.2.6 a player could easily grind 40-50 revives a day. That same number would take 15-25 days after this change assuming 2 -3 revives per day. The increased cap for holding revives really isn't as big because of how difficult it will be to get revives. This change just makes the revive farming much longer

The argument for the video vs. the comments is this: Active farming vs. passive income with slight effort. People seem to favor farming because they can get as much as they want, as quickly as they want. But for BG, or the way he plays the game, he prefers not to allocate so much time into farming and usually prefers to draw things out or wait. It's misleading for most, but it's right for the angle he's coming from. It's just that most players aren't in the same position/playstyle as him. Thus, disagreement.

It's not natural to get the revives because I still have to do the apothecary quest. If they let you auto it for 42 energy then it would be a little more natural. Plus I don't do arena or event quest so I wouldn't get the revives there. The only natural one is hero use.
To be honest yes you think of it that way but if you look at the game we have so much content even with eop objectives that 5months doing only abyss you will fall far behind and it's just how it is so spending is the way for endgame content
Nope but it’s better for most players. Being able to hold 40 revives vs 15 is a huge improvement. Plus the revives can be gained much more passively now.
The whole point was that 3.2.6 was way too good of a revive farm, so Kabam wasn't trying to give players an equal alternative, they were trying to make something worse

I actually agree that this is a pretty solid bonus. There was never a good way to get 40% revives and now they you can easily stock up 40 before going overflow it will be so nice
I'm sorry BG but this is an awful take. In order to get those LVL 2 revives you now have to commit more time into game modes I don't wanna play. I'm forced now to grind Arena for arena wins and forced to LVL champs up for level up when Gold and ISO are also a problem. Massive L IMO
love your content but highly disagree because the problem is carina challenges will still exist not to mention Abyss and you see some of the best players in the world with huge accounts have to use over 100 revives on SL Labyrinth challenge alone not to mention the others...so that still leaves me short if I farmed revives from this new quest...I can't leave to go get more while I'm in the quest so that makes players have to spend get units to complete meaning the game is not for F2P but more pay to win...now if they gave us a revive calendar with some each day then that would solve that problem...a player could push up far as they could then when calendar reset boom they get more to continue on it may take longer than revive farming 3.2.6 but it would make a lot happy...now players just won't do the content and just quit
F2P and pay-to-win is completely different. They are not mutually exclusive. Unless a player has otherworldly playing skill, there is almost no F2P players winning anything in MCOC. The game has always been Pay-to-Win, with an option for F2P. Nothing has changed. Think of the game as going from point A to point B. You can pay for a taxi and get you there fast, or you can pay less and ride a bus and get you there a bit slower. You also has the option to walk with no cost. You will get there but just much slower. For F2P players, they always have the option to earn units in arenas/contents and use the units to purchase revives. F2P players can still earn enough revives to clear all contents. They just need more planning. For example: If you need 150 revives to clear 1 path of the Abyss, assuming you saved up 80 revives in your inventory and overflow, you will need 70 more revives at 40 unit each. You have the option to do arenas or other contents to save up 2800 units first. On average, anyone could easily get approx. 75-100 units per day by hitting daily milestones, EQ and a bit of arena. Kabam did not nerf the revive accumulation. What Kabam did was nerfing people farming a lot of revives in a very short time. After the change, if there is a challenging piece of content, people will have the choice of planning and working on it for a few months (i.e. most players) OR purchase a boat load of revives and clear it in a couple of days (i.e. whales). Kabam is nerfing people that rides the taxi and not pay for it.
@CaptainEasy I gotta disagree with you on that 1. I think revive farming actually made the game more enjoyable for F2P because finally they were able to get things big whales could. Now they just won't even try it and probably quit the game because 1 thing that's different now is battle grounds. Matchmaking is trash and can at any time be thrown up against a monster account and get completely rolled. Whales didn't farm revives they just paid their way through content most of the time on day 1. F2P would have to grind out revives for days or weeks sometime to jump in to even get it done. Kabam still got their money from whales wanting to do content day 1 now this change takes away that same opportunity to F2P players to do harder content to not be equals with whale accounts but at least have some fun doing content and getting them some champs too and rank up resources. Oh, just do arena you say? Not every F2P has the time to do hours of arena. Now you might be like they got time to farm why can't they do arena. Farming you don't have to sit there and do hundreds of matches a week you can just let it auto fight. This change will change everything for players. You can use the argument oh players should just get good. In a game where you have to have specific champs to do a lot of the content so guess they're just SOL because they might not have them. It's a game at the end of the day. Games are meant to be fun. Are F2P going to start buying units or using grinded units to buy a ton of revives? Nope they'll just quit. The game can't survive without both F2P and whales. This game needs both to survive and without it there is no game.

Like I said before, anyone could easily earns 75 to 100 units per day without much effort just by doing contents, hitting daily milestone and a couple of arena milestones. Brian said it well. Contents are like a TV show. You can binge watching or watch 1 episode per week or per month. The change for most players means they no longer can 'binge' through the entire piece of contents in a day without using units. They now have to plan ahead and do it slower. I never rush through contents. So the change has no real life impact on how I play the game. To be honest, vast majority of the players do not constantly have 100+ revives sitting in their overflow. Most people just do not like the idea of not being able to get revive whenever they want and at the quantity that they want without any limitation. The change essentially regulates how many you could get per day. Farming revives was never a thing in years back. I personally think the change is good for the game. (Of course, we can disagree because we all play the game differently).

For those of you who are relatively new..... This is CLASSIC BG. Trying to put a spin on some nonsense Kabaam has done as "REALLY GOOD". He did the EXACT same thing when they nerfed willpower and Scarlett witch... What? 6 years ago? He immediately came out saying how that nerf wasn't that bad... Still really good parts. I would like to hear more opinions from people who aren't great at the game. If you're Swedeah, BG, Lagacy, Seatin, KarateMike, etc your opinion on this isn't that valuable to me because you don't experience the game in the same way I, a mediocre player, do. In fact, I would go so far as to say a lot of the end game content is being catered SPECIFICALLY to you. I wish there were more average-skilled players as content creators in this game as their experiences are more likely to match my own. The only large YT content creator who is average skill is ProfHoff and the guy spends money AND grinds arena on stream while making money. AND he does hard content off camera so who knows what his experience is like. Is there anyone who represents the chumps out there?

Yes make another freaking resource to grind like 20 other in this game. Revive farming gave a break from content a way to re allocate energy to a resource the game designers made extremely necessary to have in bulk quantities to play the game. It is the only mode autocomplete makes any sense

Bottom line is, like you said yourself, its stretching out the time it takes to farm these to a month. Everything in the game is dragged out enough. Most of us don't have time to sit home and grind all day, and nobody wants the game dragged out more than it is already. Plus, not everyone is thronebreaker. I think this sucks, like most people do.

I actually agree that this is a pretty solid bonus. There was never a good way to get 40% revives and now they you can easily stock up 40 before going overflow it will be so nice

I'm sorry BG but this is an awful take. In order to get those LVL 2 revives you now have to commit more time into game modes I don't wanna play. I'm forced now to grind Arena for arena wins and forced to LVL champs up for level up when Gold and ISO are also a problem. Massive L IMO

love your content but highly disagree because the problem is carina challenges will still exist not to mention Abyss and you see some of the best players in the world with huge accounts have to use over 100 revives on SL Labyrinth challenge alone not to mention the others...so that still leaves me short if I farmed revives from this new quest...I can't leave to go get more while I'm in the quest so that makes players have to spend get units to complete meaning the game is not for F2P but more pay to win...now if they gave us a revive calendar with some each day then that would solve that problem...a player could push up far as they could then when calendar reset boom they get more to continue on it may take longer than revive farming 3.2.6 but it would make a lot happy...now players just won't do the content and just quit
F2P and pay-to-win is completely different. They are not mutually exclusive. Unless a player has otherworldly playing skill, there is almost no F2P players winning anything in MCOC. The game has always been Pay-to-Win, with an option for F2P. Nothing has changed.
Think of the game as going from point A to point B. You can pay for a taxi and get you there fast, or you can pay less and ride a bus and get you there a bit slower. You also has the option to walk with no cost. You will get there but just much slower.
For F2P players, they always have the option to earn units in arenas/contents and use the units to purchase revives. F2P players can still earn enough revives to clear all contents. They just need more planning.
For example: If you need 150 revives to clear 1 path of the Abyss, assuming you saved up 80 revives in your inventory and overflow, you will need 70 more revives at 40 unit each. You have the option to do arenas or other contents to save up 2800 units first. On average, anyone could easily get approx. 75-100 units per day by hitting daily milestones, EQ and a bit of arena.
Kabam did not nerf the revive accumulation. What Kabam did was nerfing people farming a lot of revives in a very short time. After the change, if there is a challenging piece of content, people will have the choice of planning and working on it for a few months (i.e. most players) OR purchase a boat load of revives and clear it in a couple of days (i.e. whales).
Kabam is nerfing people that rides the taxi and not pay for it.
@CaptainEasy I gotta disagree with you on that 1. I think revive farming actually made the game more enjoyable for F2P because finally they were able to get things big whales could. Now they just won't even try it and probably quit the game because 1 thing that's different now is battle grounds. Matchmaking is trash and can at any time be thrown up against a monster account and get completely rolled. Whales didn't farm revives they just paid their way through content most of the time on day 1. F2P would have to grind out revives for days or weeks sometime to jump in to even get it done. Kabam still got their money from whales wanting to do content day 1 now this change takes away that same opportunity to F2P players to do harder content to not be equals with whale accounts but at least have some fun doing content and getting them some champs too and rank up resources. Oh, just do arena you say? Not every F2P has the time to do hours of arena. Now you might be like they got time to farm why can't they do arena. Farming you don't have to sit there and do hundreds of matches a week you can just let it auto fight. This change will change everything for players. You can use the argument oh players should just get good. In a game where you have to have specific champs to do a lot of the content so guess they're just SOL because they might not have them. It's a game at the end of the day. Games are meant to be fun. Are F2P going to start buying units or using grinded units to buy a ton of revives? Nope they'll just quit. The game can't survive without both F2P and whales. This game needs both to survive and without it there is no game.
@@mikejoyner2334 I cannot speak for anyone or their experience. I can only see it thru my own view. Like I said before, anyone could easily earns 75 to 100 units per day without much effort just by doing contents, hitting daily milestone and a couple of arena milestones.
Brian said it well. Contents are like a TV show. You can binge watching or watch 1 episode per week or per month. The change for most players means they no longer can 'binge' through the entire piece of contents in a day without using units. They now have to plan ahead and do it slower. I never rush through contents. So the change has no real life impact on how I play the game.
To be honest, vast majority of the players do not constantly have 100+ revives sitting in their overflow. Most people just do not like the idea of not being able to get revive whenever they want and at the quantity that they want without any limitation. The change essentially regulates how many you could get per day. Farming revives was never a thing in years back. I personally think the change is good for the game.
(Of course, we can disagree because we all play the game differently).

Yes, but I 3.2.6 you could get about 50 lvl 1 revives a day if you had committed time. Now it is WAY less for 40% revives.

40% revive is a buff cause you can survive a missed input. I don’t have a problem with the nerf itself. It’s the BS I had to be feed for the nerf to happen.

For those of you who are relatively new..... This is CLASSIC BG. Trying to put a spin on some nonsense Kabaam has done as "REALLY GOOD". He did the EXACT same thing when they nerfed willpower and Scarlett witch... What? 6 years ago? He immediately came out saying how that nerf wasn't that bad... Still really good parts. There was a HUGE spending protest after that. Forcing Kabaam to rework that nerf.
He obviously has a vested financial interest to see MCOC "do well". Be it UA-cam or something else behind the scenes no one knows.
So i build up all these revives say i dont wait six mounths to clear content .. kabsm says march 14 new content hits its bugged till new update dam now i have to do it sll sgsin ok fair enough or they come ssy well we have to push new content back till next mounth you hit they do this all the time plus not everybody has been playing since year one also new caps kool new revives available cool but it doesnt seem like the middle were if you spend it doesnt matter

I can't tell you how happy this video made me after days of complete brainiacs complaining about a functioning exploit being removed.
I would like to hear more opinions from people who aren't great at the game. If you're Swedeah, BG, Lagacy, Seatin, KarateMike, etc your opinion on this isn't that valuable to me because you don't experience the game in the same way I, a mediocre player, do. In fact, I would go so far as to say a lot of the end game content is being catered SPECIFICALLY to you. I wish there were more average-skilled players as content creators in this game as their experiences are more likely to match my own.
The only large YT content creator who is average skill is ProfHoff and the guy spends money AND grinds arena on stream while making money. AND he does hard content off camera so who knows what his experience is like. Is there anyone who represents the chumps out there?

Yes make another freaking resource to grind like 20 other in this game. Revive farming gave a break from content a way to re allocate energy to a resource the game designers made extremely necessary to have in bulk quantities to play the game. It is the only mode autocomplete makes any sense

Ya it's not a buff, it's just a money grab, they don't want you being able to go through content easier without paying for more revives. The game has turned into a pay to play game, if they keep this up they will lose so many people..

Bottom line is, like you said yourself, its stretching out the time it takes to farm these to a month. Everything in the game is dragged out enough. Most of us don't have time to sit home and grind all day, and nobody wants the game dragged out more than it is already. Plus, not everyone is thronebreaker. I think this sucks, like most people do.
