@@halseyanneletissier all ur videos talk about Martin why?
@@Capboy16 she's a fangirl. Let her be mate.
ironically, that sounds like martin garrix to me haha
Same bro 😅
haha ye rlly sick
Expected: Avicii
Reality: Martin Garrix
Well, i have seen absolutely nobody ever make a Avicii type song that sounds even 1% like him. Lol. Idk, Avicii was without question the most unique and best edm artist of all time.
I could definitely use your advice this helped me a lot . I’m serious about music and it’s gonna be my life
Ya what a great vid. I like the quick talking format that just gets straight to the point without alot of extra waisted time. Perfect
Cheers for a great video man. Honestly this is so simple but so effective and I love that 🙌🙌
The most melodic music teacher in UA-cam
Live you Alex
I'm excited to have your course after buying my new PC
That actually sounds like a Martín Garrix song haha
Sounds like hentai to my ears
@@Sh0n0 now we are talking...
Think it's cuz it's less plucky and more synthy
Lol 😂😂😂😂
Facts
Thank you for this Martin Garrix tutorial (the music is actually really good)
Your awesome man
Thank you man, your tutorials are diffrent. All other tutorials are going through the same stuff but you come up with new techniques and stuff thats epic.
Your tips are always helpful! 🔥❤️
Thanks for this awersome tutorial but it sounds must like Martin Garrix song don't you think ?
Martin Louis True!
Totally agree.. it was not that tropical like kygo and Avicii.
True! Also like future bounce!
Wauw Alex, gonna admit that really blew me away. I've had the idea of the change but wauw this literally amazed me, thanks for sharing!
Amazing realization I learned from watching your videos (LEGEND): One can achieve the most polished sounding production and still manage to write dull, uninspiring music.
Can you please talk about making good leads and how to mix them. The one you used in this video would be perfect. Also this was great.
Bruh this is 🔥 💯👏👏👏
love the vid
Very nice video. I love when I don’t have to skip around to find the good parts.
Golden tips 👍👍
video editing on point
Always great content from you. Idk how UA-cam recommended this .
This video spoke to me more than the others. I love this shit sm. Keep up the hard work homie
Dude, you're the best. I love your tutorials👊🏽
Definitely usefull if youre in the beginning of a track and are struggling with adding into that idea and dont know or cant think of how to continue with it,this is a well explenation of how you can take one idea (chords and melody) and use the fundamentals of it to create other elements of the song such as the drop and drop melody.
Sounds really good! Keep it up!
Great method ando you explained it wonderfully!!
absolutely brilliant
This helped me do a completed song right after the video 🙏
thank you very much! for this video
awesome! Don't know how you come up with this stuff so easily.
Everything you do is GOLD. I wish i had FL and Serum.
You are a very good producer . =) .
You explain real well and make it so interesting
Welp... im 380% better at production by watching these videos
Is it just me or does the drop sound like a retrovision style one?? Haha sounds sick great work man!!
Hi Alex, you popped into my recommendations. I really appreciate your short-form content.
Can you make a video on how to make cool Rythm of chords?
Amazing 🙌🏻
Thankyou so much ❤️
This is a great video for getting started with any idea that comes into mind really, even if you're a newbie or more advanced producer. In like four steps you already have like the whole base of the track in front of you, and also an idea of how the mix should sound according to breaks, drops, etc. Awesome stuff Alex, really inspiring! Thanks 😄
Really great vid bro
Man, you're good!
Dope lil video edit
Perfectly explained!
Always class stuff 🔥🔥🔥 thanks
great tip alex, thank you
another good tip : use 4 chords in intro and in breakdown or buildup go for 8 chords for more energy
I guess it was more like mike williams type of build up and drop but after that was cool
That dude Avicii had some songs I loved. I listen to more evil stuff usually
Generally: don't bore your listeners with long melody notes (like verse style part) for too long, make them shorter and fast occuring to build up the musical tension. :)
Nevertheless, thanks, it's good to see it on screen and know that it's a known technique. I've been doing similar things but it's nice feeling when bits of knowledge fall into their right places.
Drop sounds like Brooks !
You have the right to remain Sylenth
Those zoom-ins on your hands are so good lmao
IJAWO haha nice to see a Bootcamp student lurking around the comment section
@@AlexRome caught me! Still just so much good content here
Which plugin did you used for piano. It sound so natural.
great tips!
This was a good video!!
Cool😍❣️
This is awesome. It would be cool if you could make a tutorial like EDM Remakes
Everyone stop saying it's more Martin or more mesto they both came from Avicii anyway😂
Dope bro thanks 🖤🖤
Nice! 👌Again with Logic I love it✌️
wow that drop
Nice 😊👍
Alex you never give me heart on my comments 😔
Abhi Kumar here ya go homie
@@AlexRome thanks sir... I watch your every single video... And your videos taught me so much... Thank you so much for being amazing... This channel is a heaven for me ❤️
Abhi Kumar you should look into his edm course man..
Me too
he is scoring some methods lately
Lol starting to chuckle at that dj guy at the end ;)
Man, I would not be able to mix songs for a living. I could never decide on the plethora of options, and I'd probably end up just hating what I made after spending weeks on it. I don't think I have the artistic vision for this kind of work, but I appreciate those who do!
REALLY NOICE!!!
Are we just not gonna say anything about that zoom in of his hands right before the 3 minute mark 😂
😂😂
Can you make a video how to make the Vocal Lead preset of this video ???? Thank Alex!)))i hope you can teach me !!!
awesome!
Nice
Great 👍😎
Sir can you please make a video on Catchy Melodies and Crazy Chord progression like Martin Garrix, Avicii & Marshmello
Alex got too much free time with these new fire edits
Peter Mazzella haha thanks 🙏 been testing out my new video editor
@@AlexRome testing him like a lab rat
Broooooo 💯💯💯💯
another usefull video , i'm not even making EDM ... Thanks Alex
Wow man tremendous!!! I also wonder that some day I will be making songs. Which DAW is this ? Can I have a heart on this comment?
Brilliant as usual. Alex, can you tell us about the sounds. First what is this piano (which plug and which preset) ? If you have a mn ... what about the origin of the other sounds (your design or banks).
Small video..Big Knowledge
How do u make that amazing vocal chops in Logic Pro X?
Obviously with a Sampler-Plugin like Iris 2. He used single notes, so it can't be a Logic plugin or done with pitch-automation.
Hypagon actually logic has stock plugins that can do just that, obviously
Hey Alex big fan of the channel. How do you record you mix on the screen and it get it to sound so crisp for your tutorials? Thanks 😊
Bro I would like to download your track ❤️
All in All a great vid. Thinking it's good for people who is starting up.
Though I feel like I need to adress the fact that you refer the style to artists like Avicii and Kygo. Encourage people to create music in their own respective way. You won't get respected in this line of business by doing the same thing Kygo or Avicii did. They created their own style by making music their own way.
Yes you can take a great deal of inspiration from certain artists. But there is a difference from taking a bit of inspiration, to create a track thinking "my favorite artist would do THIS".
Btw Alex. I don't hate on what you do.
But I'd rather see you create a track using your own thoughts and methods, than hearing you say "what would Kygo do?".
If you know what I mean?
You should show us the midi Mélody
U r amazing bro
Cool idea to make Cool melody🔥
Do you use other Daw like fl studio.?
Hey where can I find your songs
PS love your content
What type of piano did you start with? or does it just have filters on it to give it that specific sound?
Can you make a video explaining how Flume makes his drums pop out in the mix so much, like they're the center piece of his music but they don't drown out or take away from the harmonics of the chords/pads/bass. Anytime I try to do this, it just feels like the drums are too loud and they're taking away from the other music. I've tried all types of EQ, compression, etc.
Jordan White Besides the stuff like making sure your kicks are in mono, try looking at the drums with a frequency analyzer like span. Once you identify the main frequencies of the drum sounds, go to the other instruments and slightly drop those frequencies in volume. Also i know flume offsets his drums from the grid a lot, so like his kicks/hats don’t hit exactly on the beat
❤❤❤🙏🏻
How to make your melody less robotic?
what plugins did u use to get that piano
Can anyone please tell me what sound/preset he used for the chords in the verse.
Niceeee 😊, love that sound 🔊.
Question :Do you always start with the chords or melody?
if im making a song yes. if I'm just jamming out I'll start with anything
where is the snap and vocal chops from?
Yoo this was super helpful. But tbh, this didn't sound tropical enough for being a Avicii or Kygo track, it was more of Martin Garrix!! And also, try to make your vid catchyyyy yo, with interesting effects to get the watchers hooked. Amazing content tho🔥🔥🔥🔥
Martin Garrix 😂😂😂😂
@@halseyanneletissier eh?
Kinda sounds like a zack martino bpm drop
is this inside your course
What i learned from avicii and kygo
Air Piano
bro how do you make music THIS good in garageband???
andrewfrankleaderwood Thats Logic Pro which is just the beefed up version of GB
