I am a lifelong collector & EDC user of Swiss Army knives, my collection is over 200 Victorinox & 20 Wenger (including Swiss Buck) models, with about 50 of various sizes are in my EDC rotation and the rest are 58mm decorative scaled collectables (120) or other sized Limited & Special Edition collectables kept in pristine condition & that includes the annual Limited Edition Alox series that began in 2015 of a 58mm Classic SD, 84mm Cadet & a 93mm Pioneer. In 2021 Victorinox broke its promise to collectors of the annual Alox LE trio & changed the line up to a 58mm SD, a 93mm Pioneer X & a 136mm Alox Hunter Pro, a single bladed knife. Whilst I am in favor of the change from Pioneer to Pioneer X, I am at a loss to understand why the 84mm LE Cadet was abandoned in favor of the unwieldy 136mm Alox Hunter a very expensive knife. I have a friend in the UK, also a serious Victorinox collector who has all the annual Alox LE series from 2015 who suddenly found in 2021 he could not purchase the trio because the 136mm knife is illegal in the UK, likewise all other UK SAK fans & in other countries where blades over 3" & blades that lock are illegal. IMO Victorinox shot itself in the foot by including a 136mm locking blade knife in the series. I live in Israel, thankfully we have no blade size & locking method restrictions but I still wont buy a 136mm very expensive SAK just to sit in the display cupboard & I know from my local Victorinox seller that the 136mm model is unpopular & does not sell well even though he is constantly discounting them for up to 40% off. A lemon is a lemon and according to the UA-cam channel of Vic Spain, this year's 2023 Alox LE trio will be in 'Electric Yellow' (a shade of lemon) & once again includes the 136mm behemoth - which once again I will not buy!

Handeld a "silver" version from a buddy of me. Ordered me a black one, they are still available over here. It is on its way and am not sure if I should use it, or just keep it as a collector piece. If the clip was black (better concealment) and the ring at the end would be a glas breaker as well, it would be close to perfect. Actually I don´t like flat handles, but this ones fit perfect in my hand.

I'm afraid you can't do much about that. If I'm not wrong, it is a 'torsion' bar, which is so strong. Maybe if you open the knife and bend or grind somehow the bar, it will help, but it could be a crazy idea. Last thing, try to open and close as often you can, and maybe after a while becomes slightly softer.
Open the knife so the blade is perpendicular to the handle with lots of tension on that spring and leave it like that for a week or two. I have not tried this but I've heard this trick before it may or may not work.
What's the idea of the blade being like that? It looks like some prisoner shank made out of an old piece of metal fence with the crude beveled edge, sharpened on a concrete cell floor.. Lol

Maybe if you open the knife and bend or grind somehow the bar, it will help, but it could be a crazy idea. Last thing, try to open and close as often you can, and maybe after a while becomes slightly softer.
