Upside was great at first, they need to find a way to incentivise merchants more though. All the gas stations in my area now only offer 1 penny per gallon discounts which I am sure has everything to do with our corrupt government and their mishandling of gas prices.

My cousin has gotten into this stuff. She's a teenager. These rallies and "protests" are basically parties to them. You throw a party in a public space, teenagers will show up. They don't care about anything other than having fun and getting an adrenaline rush.

Hi everyone, I am Dutch and would like to explain.. The protesters were warned for several hours. Peaceful protest, that's fine, but now we are done.
They have been told to go away peacefully and if not. They made the decision to be taken out by force. (from my understanding they had at least 4/5 hours to leave peacefully)

I totally get it, Kudos to the Dutch/German and American police forces.
I'm from Amsterdam and have followed this on live stream when it happened for a few hours so we all got to see it from up close. These 'students' were summoned many, many times to leave. They had hours and hours to pack up and go. The police here show incredible restraint. When it was all said and done the streets looked like a warzone, hundreds of thousands of euro's worth of damage, artwork (in itself worth 100's of thousands) destroyed, graffiti everywhere.

Or are you reffering to the fact that poland is not very keen on implementing these neo-marxist ideas in their political sphere? Well it is not very popular here in eastern europe. I always thought that we are little bit behind the west but it is turning out that we are actually ahead. We went trough this and we know how it works.
To fair it is kinda insane as someone from eastern europe being schooled by westerners about marxism etc... we know what it is like to live under communist rule. And it is was not just some label as many people in the west think, it was very ideologically driven. And there were some good things too, but we kinda realised that we could do those good things without all this ideological insanity attached to it. For example you can provide affordable housing without marxism. Almost 90% of singaporeans live in public housing, and while not ideal, at least they do have an access to relatively affordable public housing, yet at the same time singapore is arguably one of the most (if not the most) capitalistic countries on earth. There is definitely no mention of marxism anywhere in singaporean politics.
