- This DIY spider costume is quick, easy, and doesn't bust the budget (aka inexpensive)! Plus, even though it is cheap to make, it turns out so cute! It's great for any age--kid, teen, or adult. Put it together now, or wait till the last minute. This costume will turn out frighteningly adorable!

Halloween. Fall Parties. All sorts of reasons to dress up in costume. Avoid the stress and expense, by whipping up this creepy, crawly spider costume. You only need a few supplies: one long sleeve black shirt, black leggings, two pairs of black socks, poly-fil, black yarn, black thread, and a sewing needle or sewing machine. Simply stuff the socks and sew (or just safety pin) them into place on the back of the black shirt. Then, use the yarn to attach them on each side so that when the arm is lifted, they all lift. For a fun flare, draw a web on the face and top it all off with a black hat. Watch the video to get all the details.

We've run out and are currently looking for a new option for these as the vendor we purchase from is no longer making them. :-/ In the mean time though you can do a search for "solid black knee highs" on google and as long as what you find isn't 100% cotton they should work for this cute little costume.
