WhT if the dog eats the plastic bottle? Not being rude at all! Just don't want to hurt my spoiled old dog.
That would be up to your preference. We have dogs that love playing with water bottles and some that don't so it would really be up to you with what you're comfortable with. If you don't think they'd be ok with the water bottle you could use a tennis ball instead. :D

This sloth was made from a slipper sock. We don't have the same exact one in stock right at the moment but it would be something like this funsockcity.com/products/womens-tie-dye-plush-slipper-socks?_pos=3&_sid=4dd269d1f&_ss=r so any women's slipper sock that you liked the color of should work with the pattern. :D

What about really thick bulky socks? They get so thick when you fold them they take up like 3 or 4 divider' worth of space
There really isn't much you can do about how thick the socks are. One thing we would recommend you try is to use the "make a square" version of folding socks. Rather than laying socks directly on top of one another, make a "plus sign" with them. Take the bottom sock over the top and tuck the toes into its cuff. Then do the same with the other sock, would should give you a square shape, which should help it fit a little better into the dividers. Hope that helps! 🤞 ❤

I just made the legs a bit narrower than you did, did not cut off the sock beyond the seam, and when folded right-side out, they don't need to be stuffed because the excess beyond the seam fills it out enough. My grandkids didn't know the legs were supposed to be stiffer so they were quite happy with the floppy legs.

For option 4 I've used a large jingle bell in place of a squeeker. My fur babies love when I shake it because it means treat and play time. You can get a pack of 4 at DT around the holidays.
