Habe diese wirklich beeindruckende Inszenierung 2x mal in Bayreuth sehen können. Schön, es jetzt hier wiederzusehen. Diese lebendige, tiefgründige Regie ist mit das Beste, was ich in Bayreuth gesehen habe...und ich habe viel gesehen. Maßstabsetzend für alle weiteren PARSIFAL Interpretationen. Wagner hätte seine reine Freude gehabt, bin ich mir sehr sicher.
Great production. So sick to see always the same middle-age-inspired productions. Plus the action here fits extremely good with the meaning of each leitmotiv. Excelent.

Who is the conductor? Great work in the orchestral cave of Bayreuth.
Philippe Jordan is the conductor here; he does a very good job indeed!

It is Burkhard Fritz. Bayreuth released its 2016 rendition of Parsifal on DVD, though. In that rendition Vogt sings the title role.
