RM125 @ US dollar $30.00, very very cheap seafood. Plus the Sabahan people are very friendly and they speaking good english too, you feel welcome in this very humble state of East Malaysia. For those who is planning to visit Sabah, please do so, bring your smile with you and trust me, you will be amazed. The Sabahan love to smile, laugh and it comes naturally from their heart. And also, they love singing, I mean Karaoke. Everywhere you go, you will hear people call, Boss...Boss...everybody is a Boss there 😁... I love Sabah.
As a person who grow up for my entire childhood in Sabah, I can say, Sabah is the most wonderful place to stay, eat. All people are lovely and they have high tolerance. I miss Sabah... I miss UMS..
RM125 for all the dishes? 😭😭😭 crying. Surely Sabah is seafood heaven and Kaz make a right choice by going to the market instead of fancy restaurant. Enjoy Sabah Kaz.
The price you pay was totally reasonable! As a Sabahan, I can approve. That fresh fish alone should be around RM15-20, the lobster around RM80 for that big. It was quite cheap. Another style of cooking you can ask next time are Crab/Prawn masak telur masin, Kailan masak Ikan masin, fried/sambal sotong and Ikan merah 3 rasa. But it's up to you really. Glad you enjoyed the food here and yes the place is for locals too!
Sabah is the place for fresh seafoods and beautiful nature. You'll need to get a few more companions to join you so you can order more types of foods. 😅😋

Ahhh.. In kk you definitely should try: 1.fresh fish (3-flavors, steamed, or chilli-fried) - waterfront seafood night market beside pasar besar kk, very near the small roundabout with ikan todak (marlin) statue and across from segama shopping complex/mr diy/servay supermarket, since they open evenings, this is for dinner, right within the city centre 2.avocado juice/shake 😋 - same place, waterfront seafood night market, but you have to look which shop offers it, not all do 3.kelapa bakar (burnt/grilled coconut) - this is a bit outside of kk city centre about ½ hour away towards the town of tuaran, best you go during daytime (11am - 4pm), here you can also try their jelly kelapa, and grilled lokan too
Rm125 is very reasonable price. My personal opinion, sabah and sarawak are the places that u want to spend money when eating seafood. They are fresh and price not overwhelming.
Dear Kaz, welcome to Sabah. Thanks for coming...l like your comment while eating the seafood, hahaha, it so funny but nice and true, '...i feel like rich person right now'...yes becoz the seafood price is still reasonable in Sabah😀
The fish that you ate at kota Kinabalu normally we call it kerapu bara.. it is definitely an expensive in Malaysia..but rm 25 for 1 PC was a very good price..
Haha...the sensation of chewing & little popping in the mouth. I was also excited trying latok for the 1st time. Seafood in Sabah, a lot of variety & cheaper than in Peninsular. Please share your trip to the islands as well. It surely amazing & breathtaking experience.
Gerai Selera Kita - Lot No 2. 👌 At the end of the video, the cab driver thought you were a Sabahan local. Come to think of it you did look like kadazan mix chinese. Glad you had fun makan² in Sabah Kaz. Please come again ya.

Aaaaaaa so excited to taste the fresh seafood 🤤🤤🤤 my mouth is watering. I never taste a lobster so I can only imagine the taste 🤤🤤🤤 those food looks great its lucky to be you 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Kaz-san, I hope one day you will get the opportunity to visit Negeri Sembilan, a state in Malaysia which is famous for its spicy traditional food. We can go food hunting together!
In my opinion, when you have fresh fish, the best way to eat it is to steam it and paired with a soy sauce gravy. That way you can taste the sweetness of the fish itself without any other major enhancing flavour. We would deep fry and make sweet and sour with fish that is not so fresh. And that coral trout for RM25 is a steal. You will never get that price back in KL.
Im super supet super excited tat u r olredi here in Sabah..welcome Kaz..njoi ur stay..be Berani ti try the authentic food of Sabahan offer u ok...wow really looking 4wad ur up coming content
Wahh! Its afternoon and I haven't eaten lunch 😖😖 everything looks good. If you're still around, you can try ngiu chap, its a beef stew. Very sedap, my personal favorite 👍👍
last time i went to sabah was 10 years ago. Surprisingly Sabah people really friendly, seafood was the best and cheap too. Malaysia government should built highway that connect west malaysia and east malaysia.
I'm Sabahan and my hometown is at Kota Belud. Seeing this video makes me happy and exited as I'm working at Johor, here seafood is expensive (For me >_< ) :( Hope can go back for upcoming Kaamatan festival this May. Thank you KAZ for visiting Sabah and trying seafood there! SABAHBAHNI! hehe
Welcome to Sabah!! Pls include your next trip to Kuantan, Pahang. It is my honour to bring you for jalan2 around Kuantan and nearby. Btw, in Pahang you may consider to visit Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary in Lanchang, eating musang king durian in Raub or visit Lembah Temir Resort in Raub, stay at Bidaisari Resort in Janda Baik, visit english theme cottage at Fraser Hill, eating ikan patin tempoyak or patin paes at Temerloh, eating river prawn or udang galah at Laban Chondong in Rompin, also jungle adventure at our National Park or Taman Negara Malaysia in Jerantut, beautiful beaches such as Pantai Cherating or Teluk Chempedak or Pantai Batu Hitam in Kuantan, eating famous Murtabak Mengkasar in Pekan, climb newly launched Tower 188 in Kuantan, or visit cold highland places in Fraser Hills or Janda Baik or Bukit Tinggi or Cameron Highlands. And you also may want to dive at our islands such as Pulau Redang, Pulau Tioman and Pulau Perhentian. And lots more to try and experience in Pahang! See you soon....

good to know from local that those were reasonable.
The small lobster should be price $35, not $80. $100 (Medium Size) & Large One ($200)
Ngam juga la harga lobster tu. Yg lain ikan mmg lebih kuramg jua harga
Rm125 very reasonable...
Bapak murah ahh . Nanti aku gi sana makan seafood lah .
Saya orang Sabah rumah saya dekat dengan Kundasang
for your info Kaz . Kadazan is one of races in Sabah.. Sabahan(Borneo) people usually mistaken as Chinese or even japanese people
Sabah is the place for fresh seafoods and beautiful nature. You'll need to get a few more companions to join you so you can order more types of foods. 😅😋
