Not throwing shade to say a band reminds you of Metallica. Metallica, whether anyone likes it or not, is the benchmark by which most other bands are measured, especially Metallica's first four albums. I've seen Orbit Culture described as "21st Century Metallica" and "Metallica if they had balls"
You are right. They sound like old Metallica and they don't deny that they are influenced by them. They see it rather as a compliment. I personally see it as if Metallica had stuck to their original path, they could have sounded like OC... Or if you prefer, OC took the right path and then added his own twist. Orbit Culture is simply amazing. I really hope they get all the attention they so well deserve. Thanks for a good reaction!
So happy your doing a reaction to this band, only started listening to this recently because of reactors. Headbanging down the street, walking to work, soooo brutal. Every song needs a warm up on thee ol neck lol
