Not to tell you what to do or anything, but you really really need to get an additional commentator for silver crown races. That's nothing against Brian, he does a great job. But doing a 100 lap race alone, especially with little action is hard. When Pat did the crown races with the usual commentator, it made the broadcasts better because there were two people who could talk if there wasn't much going on.
When you have two announcers you end up with alot of information you don't really want to listen to. With one announcer he sets the tone and pace of the race. A better option is a pit reporter to go to for updates and reports on the technical side, you never really see an interview with a crew chief after an accident and what they needed to repair to get the car back out to the track. Or just some updates from a crew chief on how the car and driver are adjusting to track conditions, things like that for long races.

I want to know the history of the track, crown cars racing in the area. The more info I have the better. Plus it leaves less awkward silences. This race last night had a few.
I get that, but sometimes it ends sounding like a baseball game, I guess they have to find a good second announcer. Could be a problem they have to pay for a second announcer too, salary, travel expense, motel????
