@@Iosef426 Which backing "by European (...) forces" do you mean? No backing here. Many European countries are very critical of Israel. E.g. check out the recent exchange of diplomatic blows between Ireland and Israel.
So again: Why is this European colonialism? Or can you just answer with useless, generic sweeping blows? If so, keep it to yourself.
@ 53x US vetoes & 100x Billions in aid; including vetoes to 2-state solution enforcement, Palestinian Sovereignty & withdrawal enforcement from internationally recognized illegally occupied Palestinian & Syrian territories.
Remember US triggered 1973 Liberation war w Egypt, after the El Sadat 1971 Peace was rejected (although you don’t need to offer peace to ask for International Law to be implemented), the next year 1972, US vetoed the UNSC to support Israeli Colonialism & prevent International law to be enforced “without direct negotiations (on Israeli terms instead of UN)”
Genetically, Palestinians are genetically the descendants of Bronze Age Levant, in specific, not just greater MidEast or whatsoever; unlike the majority of European settler colonists
So what? Druz are safe
It’s incorrect comparison with Ukraine: Ukraine didn’t attack Russia, but Russia simply annexed Ukraine territory. Israel annexed Syrian territory in the result of numerous wars started by Syrian government. Druse population serves in IDF and well respected in Israeli society. Why DW would not present the other side of the story?
Very sad about the granny who passed away
The Golan Heights are not "occupied"; they were conquered from an aggressor state who would have done worse had the turns tabled.
The greater Israel thing will fail...
When? When prophecy is fulfilled?
Syria exists no more
Best case scenario, they don't.
In the part of the Golan that Israel annexed some became Israeli citizens and some prefer to just be residents. From what I understand it makes no practical difference. Mostly the Druze just want to live in peace and fear associations that can have negative implications on them if the borders change. They are loyal to the nation where they live. The Druze in Syria would be loyal to Syria if they were safe there. It would be nice if the Druze could move freely to and from Israel and Syria but security concerns make that unlikely. They are good people.
This could be INTERESTING.......
Israel needs to expand
what's he talking about? Of cause we expect residents to travel between Russian occupied and free Ukraine, should there be an armistice. Sure, there will be checkpoints and permits o be gotten involving bureaucracy and everything - still.
From the fense to the sea, Palestine now is free
The requested annexation they have their own plans have seen Idlib and said hold my beer 🍺
Identity as Syrian that want Israeli citizenship so bad
there's no "difficult political balance in this sensitive region". israel invaded syrian territory. it has to preoccupy it and give back control to damascus. it's very simple really
Totally wrong Mr. Hellyer!
The cause and foundation of the problem is italy and France Paris,Rome,Napolitano,Napoli,America, Rome,Taranto,Torino,Sardegna????
Goland hait sellanu
has the right to expand itself
NutandYahoo’s actions over the past year almost seemed designed to display and toy with western hypocrisies. Curious.
It is illegal. And should stop at once. High time international law is enforced.
Tell it Erdoğan
Right. Let's enforce international law. How about we start with Tibet?
You remember that there is Cyprus, which has been occupied territory for several decades and the UN is not really doing anything about it.
WhoTF are U?
How innocent DW 😂😂😂😂
Those who work for DM need to learn geography and a lot more. You learned a lot when you attended al Jazeera University in Doha but it is not that useful if you want to be professional.
Part of the Golan Heights was annexed by Israel and is now part of Israel not occupied territory. Get your facts straight!!!!!!!!!! Oh I realize it is DM which is part of Qatar. Es tut mir leid!
Too bad So sad.
