I have a 2014 bottle of Herod and the performance is the best in my collection , I can smell it 24 hours later . I love the scent of Herod , I tried tobacco vanille but it was too sickly sweet .
For me, very often the question is Herod or Side Effect. Yesterday I wore Herod, today I'm wearing Side Effect ... both are tobacco/vanilla/cinnamon scents. I'm always torn apart between these two. It would be interesting to get your view on both scents.
Imho Herod tends masculine, and SE tends slightly feminine like TF TV. I like both as well. If you feel like being on the sweet side, go with SE. On the other hand, if you feel like striking a (good) balance, go with Herod. If you are out in the open, SE projects more. On the other hand, if you are in enclosed environments (such as an office), reach for Herod. According to some reviewers, women prefer SE on the guy :)
The problem of performance with this fragrance is the Iso E Super chemical used. Although it’s purpose is to improve longevity, It cause olfactory fatigue quickly after application. The crazy thing is that I do get compliments even though I can’t smell it. The complimenters enjoy it more than the wearer
Nice one my friend, you got a Sub :D ! What Alc. % you have on your Herod, is still the 78%? The new 82% is a disgrace, in 20 min is gone unfortunately.
I had a bottle of Herod for a year or so, but sold it. I loved it, but it never lasted on my skin, and was a skin scent within an hour or two.
I totally understand that feeling. Mine doesn’t project much either but I just love the scent and can’t think of a suitable replacement :)
I have to admit the TF has more projection then Harod ; that said , the Herod is a lot less expensive then the TF Tobacco Vanille .

I’ve finished my Herod 8ml decant and am wearing Carlisle tonight
Nice one! Carlisle is one of my top 10 fragrances of all time
Carlisle is pure class.
Hi I have Herod and I love it I'll pay $400 again for it 👍
Just picked up a 75 mil for 250$
@nicholas201111 Me too I hope I like it. I hear people complaining that it smells like 🚬 cigarettes.

All Herod batches above 2015 are trash. The red dense juice sits in the 2015 and older batches.
I just stumbled upon Maison Alhambra's Hercules, heard its a Herod clone. Is it worth going for?
I have never tried it
Is it worth spending the money for any of these 2 fragrances or go for spice bomb extreme?
spice bomb is more agresive and suitable for younger persons
harod is beautiful scent BUT its WEAK SAUCE AF
Get yourself a 2015 or older batch. ;-)
Nice 😊 👍
No way is herod more masculine than tobacco vanille 😂
