An amazingly important question that neither Coolmusic nor any of the reviewers I've seen is: What do I do when the battery dies (i.e. can no longer be charged)? Older portable amps used standard sealed-lead-acid batteries (SLAs) that have been sold for decades and will probably be sold for decades to come. SLAs die after three years whether you use them or not. My old Crate Taxi amp, for example, makes replacement easy: unscrew a few screws, disconnect the standard battery connectors, take the old battery out, put the new one in, reconnect the connectors, screw the cabinet back together. My questions for Coolmusic, which are not answered in their manuals, are:
1) What specific batteries you use in your amps (exact models)?
2) Is the amp built in such a way that I can easily replace them?
3) Where I can buy replacement batteries?
4) What are the prospects for these batteries still being sold many years or even decades from now?
a channel called "Graham hall" has reviewed this speaker, and seems to be a real guy, and will actually answer your question. Hope it helps!
@@Muzikman127 Thanks for the tip, but it didn't pan out. I found Graham Hall and his one CoolMusic review, entitled "CoolMusic BP80 Rechargeable Amp Review". He makes no mention of the battery, so I left my same comment (above) on his review. But thanks for alerting me to him. He reviewed the BP80, which is the exact amp I'd buy.
3:55 that's the female bracket to put the speaker on a stand, nothing to do with air.
I love the sound of this Amp. But just wondering how vocals would sound.
thanks for posting. from mtw in los angeles.
How do we put the bluetooth on? It doesn't show the device in the phone
Is this better than novox nPlay? Novox has 50W but the size of speaker is similar I guess... I have novox, is really loud...
How does it sound with the bass?
Lovely sound but cant figure out how to record....HELP 👍🙏
Any good for solo acoustic pub gigs
I just got this unit and I really like it in general but I found it does not work with my electric guitar very well. It distorts the sound with my lead and rhythm pickups
should have test vocals because usually this kind of amp is a bit sketchy when it comes to vocals
I heard the speaker quality of this is not as good as Roland? Would that be right?
Didn't have a bass boost? That was a speaker stand hole on the bottom. Do you think the 3 band Eq is needed or will a 2 band Eq achieve a similar result?
Have to say it has plenty of bass without a boost. The three band certainly makes a difference in the mid tones EQ. Very clean amplifier and therefore makes for a excellent keyboard amplifier with kick associated volume.
How's the battery life?
Thanks for the review. Can’t find anything about a warranty - did it come with one? Have you run vocal or guitar pedals/preamp through it?
lmao "hearted" an no answer. That comes across like such a slap in the face. "Just so you know, I've seen your question, and I could answer it, but I'm not going to, go **** yourself" lol
I tried electric guitar but it will distort on my lead and rhythm guitar pickups. When I use it in the middle pickups, which have a softer tone it works fairly well😊
how long does the battery last?
5 to 6 hours depending on use.
Please do videos in landscape mode. Ruins the video.
Does it have Bluetooth?
yes have bluettoth
You sound just like Johnny Depp Willy Wonka
