Someone in my family has suffered for about 7yrs with PHN, very debilitated not been able to where clothing. I don't know how he is still alive. I have heard of some others with similar problems talking their own lives😞. After many expensive treatments and meds he's giving up. Too bad he is not in this country. This doctor's treatment seems very promising.😞
Glad you found something or someone to help, So most of us dont live in the same country and most doctors probably not even heard of the method described in this video. In UK think the best we get is tablets or cream and sent home. Was really hoping I was going to read about something easily obtainable for all of us. Really feel for all of you who are suffering with this dreadful thing PHN. Husband is now in his 5th week of pain around eye head and neck area, only thing that helps is gabapentin and apply ice packs like every 10 minutes.
I've had PHN for ten years now, almost eleven. Every doctor I've been to don't seem to know what to do about PHN. My pain is very severe and my life is pretty put on hold. I'd love to have the pain gone for good. People don't understand that the pain is not going to go away on it's own.
3 years for me. No one told me it was permanent. I was under the impression that it could heal. I'm fighting for my sanity. I'm sorry to hear it's been so long for you.

@@SuperFacecloth Yep permanent and I daren't tell my poor husband this as his only in his 5th week now. Gone from an active outdoor man, to a pitiful in pain and depressed one. How long can one possibly live like this. Fighting for sanity indeed. IF only he had his shingles vaccine.

I am in my 5th week having shingles in my right forehead,scalp,eyes and upper cheek..the shingles is now dry but the pain still remains..been suffering in this pain for 2 weeks now.my neuro doctor said it was PHN.he gave me some pain med and cetrizine for the itch.he said it may take months or years before this pain will go away.Help me pls.im 40 years old,i have 2 sons..and i want to be normal again for them.By the way im from the philippines.Thank you so much and God bless

Ice bags bad idea. Instead use Cool-Wet Compress NOT ICE-BAG. Also NOT HOT WATER. ONLY WARM. Did you try Gabapentin capsules? And also Aveeno lotion Or a paste of CornStarch+Water? Or Oatmeal Bath? Or Calamine lotion (after Warm bath) to soothe and dry? Does she eat high lysine foods such as yogurt/eggs/salmon/green-veggies? Green tea?
I am from the Philippines I also have shingles In my left side face it also enter my left ear, I was admitted in the hospital for 3 days after a 2weeks, scar leaves on it and the pain an acheness still remains... What should I do it's been 2months...
