12 October 2023 - Dawn Blessing of Paparātā - Bay of Islands Hospital.
The new building will form the entry point to the hospital and primary general practitioner health services, providing the following: Outpatients; Renal Services; and Oncology / Haematology. Primary Health is intended to be run by Ngāti Hine Health Trust.
There are also shared open plan office, clinical support areas, public spaces including security office and building plant rooms.
The beautiful artwork is by artists Te Hemoata Henare and Theresa Reihana.
