Howdy Brock! I can see where that would be pretty useful. Good job and thanks for sharing 🤠
Good job Brock. I’ve been watching Sandy for a couple of years now. He is a wealth of information about sawing.
Agreed. He gets a lot done building with fresh cut lumber
sandy is the man!!!!
I love that idea, Brock! Thanks!
Seen you on think media class. You are amazing. So many great points and helpful tips. Can’t wait to watch your content. Much love from our channel. ❤
Thanks
Thanks, Brock! I watch Sandy's channel, too. Been thinking about that laser for a while now. I'm not sure if I'm quite ready for something like that just yet. Sometimes I just like to keep things simple. That's why I got the sawmill in the first place. It was simpler than free hand cutting lumber with a chain saw. Everything just seems so expensive these days, so I was wondering if you could do a video on whittling toothpicks with a jackknife you found. I should be able to fit that into my budget! Just kidding, of course, but not about how expensive everything is these days. You just keep on making videos, and I'll keep watching them. You'll make a little money, and I won't spend any. I can see that we'll make a great team!
I don’t have them whittling skills
Great t-shirt!
Thanks
Most don't work well outdoors on a sunny day. The line disappears after a few feet.
On video you can see that laser real well. Daylight may be a better test?
I’ve got a video call at noon today and when that’s over I’ll send you a message
Might be worth putting some rubber between the bracket and the saw cover to isolate it/dampen the vibrations. When the saw is running that laser is dancing all over the log. That way you don’t have to stop the blade to get a useful sighting from the laser. Or if there’s a place you could mount the laser that isn’t subject to the vibrations but still gives a good sighting line.
Morning
👀
I wish I lived in a place that had trees, lol... texas panhandle here, and there ain't a tree is sight
Tape magnet won't last long!
Yeah, at the end, I went ahead and screwed it to the mill
The laser should pay for itself in blades and time savings.
