This game is the first Mario party game I had ever gotten and it is to this day my favorite. Tuber rug is one of my favorites, I think I have around 70-80 as my record for it. Makes my arm hurt but seeing the number go up makes it worth it

Fun fact: normally when two players tied in 3rd place, they would do their 3rd place ‘pose’, but only in MP9 if they are tied in 3rd place, they do their 4th place pose. Same for if three players are tied in 2nd place.

10:45 Super Mario World! If you take the hidden exit in the first stage of Vanilla Dome, and the standard exist in the stage that leads to, it takes you to a pipe that goes to a stretch of 2 stages and fortress above. The water stage there is the first appearance of these Mario dolphins

In the pinata pool mini game it is possible to get points when the time limit is up. To do that you must get to a hoop just before "finish" appears on the screen. When time is up it gives time for the people who still are waiting to get the points for getting a hoop. At 13:58 Yoshi actually got the hoop at just the exact frame before finish was called. If it were just a frame later you would have won.
My sister had something similar happen when I played against her, I think she won the same way
